Upon arrival, they gave us a key to a room that was already occupied. Very awkward experience as we opened the door and saw all the suitcases. They apologized and changed the room. However, everything else was also quite below expectations: The property was quite old. The stairs and elevators were not clean. There was a dead cockroach in our room. No food onsite. The bar was supposed to serve breakfast, but they told us that they were full (it didn’t seem full. There were only a few other people with plenty of space.) No water in the room and no one who brings you something if you need anything at night.

Beautiful resort near the beach. Has many amenities. We loved everything except first night Jacuzzi was cold, so we could not use it. The second night it was warm, but it got cold while we were inside. Would definitely come back if Jacuzzi will be fixed. Great location.

I recently stayed at the Beach Retreat and Lodge, and had a disappointing experience. Our room had multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues. We found blood stains on the carpet and stains on the sheets. The AC unit had a light indicating the filter needed cleaning and did not blow cool air, making the room uncomfortable. Additionally, the soap pumps in the shower were not functional. The amenities were subpar. The pool, advertised as heated, was cold and unenjoyable. The most frustrating experience was at the sports bar. Service was terrible; we waited 15 minutes before receiving menus, didn’t get utensils with our meal, and had to ask three times for our bill. The only redeeming factor was the beach, which was beautiful and serene. However, the overall poor condition and service at the hotel overshadowed this positive aspect. I would not recommend the Beach Retreat and Lodge.

Loved our stay here, Only downside was that we had to keep calling maintenance to turn on the fireplace in the room, hotel was clean, quiet. The hotel staff and very attentive to anything we need.

Great location near the Lake and with beautiful views. Great location with nearby things to do. I wish the bathroom had a fan because the smell stays and lingers. In the shower, the Hot water was cold and the Cold water was hot. Overall a decent hotel and near the Lake

Lady who checked me in was rude.Nice room, decent view. Shower would not work, called and the maintenance man came and kinda fixed it. We went to dinner came back for a nice shower, no hot water, extremely disappointed. Only other thing was a old coffee cartridge from previous guest that housekeeping missed.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, and fun place to stay. We enjoyed our family holiday here, and the kids loved the pool and beach. Thanks!
