Good location. Staff very helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was open for a long time. Room was spacious & comfortable. Overall the hotel was a little tired though.

The location is excelent, closed to the Teatro Amazonas with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

This place is awful. DO NOT DO IT, THERE IS NOT A JUSTIFIABLE REASON ON EARTH TO STAY HERE. The location is fine I guess, but one would almost rather be outside suffering in the heat than return to this rundown and poor excuse for lodging. I am quite tolerant of bad quality, but this goes beyond the mark. I knew not to have my expectations to high when I saw the price, but, I am just insulted by what I found here. The bathtub, in the photos, is so disgusting and deteriorating that the bottom of it bent and wobbled as if it were about to give out in the bottom. I will be quite surprised if it doesn't collapse in the next few weeks. The mattress, filthy and falling apart, was made with only one not-fitted sheet. So, not only do you have no covers, but when you wake up, you have found yourself bathing in the horror of the brown-stained exploding foam mattress. When we went to call the front to ask for a new sheet, the phone doesn't work. When we go downstairs to speak with the front desk, completely useless. I am not the type of tourist to travel and expect everyone to speak my language, be it English, Spanish, or Dutch, however; I work in tourism and it is just common sense that in a hotel in the centre of an international tourist destination that the hotel staff speak enough of one of the major languages spoken in the same hemisphere, at least the words for common things in the hotel.
