The pictures online do not do this place justice! When you enter into the front door you are immediately drawn towards a stunning view through a large picture window overlooking the sea and the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell Isola! Alexei and his father had a large fruit Basket, local bakery sweets and Prosecco as a generous gift for us as well as coffee and other various drinks in the refrigerator! He gave us a tour of the apartment as well briefing us on the city, things to do, and restaurant recommendations! He and his father are fabulous hosts! The apartment is well appointed! It has a beautiful patio that overlooks the sea as well. We spent many hours on this porch especially during sunset! The beach is a short distance down hill, there are stairs to climb however Alexei will inform you of nearby stairs that are very doable to gain access to the beach where you can rent chairs and have a wonderful lunch! I would highly recommend renting a boat through sea gate while you are there! You can do a self tour of the coast and see some amazing sites! They are located at the marina, they also offer guided tours if you don’t feel comfortable driving, some wonderful snorkeling spots in and around Tropea! Alexei was very reachable through WhatsApp. And very helpful whenever we had a question. This is a fabulous place to stay! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

This apartment was the best one we’ve ever stayed in on our Europe travels, and we’ve stayed in close to 100. Views: 180 degree view of the incredible coast and beach below. It is the best view in town and has the largest windows and terrace from which to stare at the sea and the perfect sunsets every night. Apartment: Sparkling clean and updated. The shower has a large rain shower, which I’ve never seen in a rental apartment. Kitchen is completely outfitted, beds are comfortable, there is a clothes washer, the WiFi is strong, and everything is in excellent working order and spotlessly clean. Location: The best location you can get. 5 min walk to the beach. 2 min walk into the historic center. Stores and bars and restaurants right outside your door. Host: Alexei is the most gracious and kindest host you’ll ever encounter. He met us on check-in and gave us excellent recommendations (take him up on his restaurant recommendations!). He kindly provided a fridge stocked with waters, juices, milk, and Prosecco! And, he gave us a giant bowl of fresh fruit. Alexei is incredibly generous with his time and knowledge of Tropea and genuinely wants you to have a great time as a visitor to be treated as a “local.” We cannot say enough great things about amazing Alexei, this sparkly and stunning apartment, and our new favorite Italian town Tropea. All we can say is “Go to Tropea and stay in this apartment!” We plan to return for sure!

Bela Tropea apartment is amazing. Alex our host met us on arrival and was always available and so helpful. Everything about this apartment was perfect, exceptionally well equipped and beautifully decorated with very welcome fruit, wine and other food on our arrival. Best of all the amazing views from living room and huge terrace. Tropea is a beautiful place. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous apartment, fully renovated, with absolutely enchanting views, for three nights in June 2018. Alexei, the owner, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Everything about this property was super fabulous - from the cleanliness, the accommodations, the fridge filled with goodies and plenty of coffee... and the view....well spectacular. We spent two nights here during February 2018. Alex was very helpful and gracious. Highly recommend. Our only issue was the weather (cold and rainy), summer is definitely a better time to visit.

This apartment has an amazing view. The whole apartment is decorated beautifully and has everything you could need and more! Alex is a very good host and responds immediately to any enquirers. Highly recommend! The town was pretty quiet when we were there, late January, but I understand gets more lively in season.

Firstly, thank you so much Alex you were a fantastic host and a true gentleman throughout our 4 week stay. You went above and beyond and nothing was to much trouble and we really appreciated everything you did for us from the time we arrived until you drove us to the Airport. We actually missed you when we got home. Well where to begin regarding this fantastic apartment it was just fabulous!! The most amazing views you will ever see, clean, bright, modern, well maintained and a filled so many goodies you don't need to worry about thing. It is conveniently located right near the town centre, beach, shops, restaurants which are all an easy short comfortable walk away. It is so quiet and peaceful once you enter inside it's pure heaven.
