We stayed in room 1525 and unfortunately the only down side to our trip was not a working AC! Luckily my fiance and I were able to sleep still, a well working fan made sure of that. The staff were remarkable and the food was delightful! Some people have said the facilities were outdated, personally I think they just need some restoration but other than that it was a great time. Some workers I want to highlight are Diego (sushi expert), Lucia (chambermaid), Luz (bartender) and Ulises (concierge). There are also so much more but you will have to go an experience it for yourself!

The hotel is the worst place to stay Unsafe, the door from our room had a big gap where you can see through. Very dirty, paint stains all over the floor, something grease and sticky on the bath wall, the tub was dirty and stains on it. Customer service did not help us at all, she was rude and ignored us. We stay there for 20 minutes and they refused to give us our money back or give us a better room

Friendly staff. Helpful. Rooms are little dated but it’s clean. Great option of food, buffet and 4 restaurants to choose from. With just a little more attention with some upkeep this place would be pretty superb. Budget. Would recommend.

The concierge Daniel was fabulous. He always went out of his way to make sure he gave excellent customer service. All the restaurants were pretty good. Staff was very accommodable to any needs that we had

The food was really good. Service was always good but it’s time for some updating in the rooms and a new roof over the buffet as it leaks when it rains. The cleanliness of the rooftop pool could have been better but it wasn’t terrible. I wouldn’t steer anyone away from this location for the right price but I’m not sure it quite lives up to its Star rating.

The air conditioner was amazing! The balcony view was draw dropping! They sky pool bar was amazing! The food was healthy! The Environment was perfect! We saw a huge turtle crawl up on shore! It was the best vacation I’ve had in a very long time! I will miss Puerto Vallarta Mexico!

The food in the buffet is not good same thing everyday. Not enough waiters. Not good service. The only good things is the Mexicans restaurant and you have limited time to make a reservation.

The food was the deal breaker. Cheap buffet food. The food at the restaurants was terrible. A lot of show and fanciness at the restaurants but food was terrible. If food matters to you the don’t stay here. The pools and ocean are great. More suited for a couple or a budget conscious family. Not for me, won’t come back.

Overall we did enjoy our stay. We appreciated the special bottle of wine and cake surprise for our birthdays, and anniversary celebration. The bartenders at the beach bar were fantastic! They mix the best cocktails! And the servers are absolutely lovely. We did have a few hiccups in the beginning that was a little annoying to deal with. We paid for an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. When we tried to enjoy it, we found the pumps did not work. We then found multiple things broken in the room like the lamps, and the bathroom. We then moved to the second room which was cleaner overall. But it was weird to see that the jacuzzi faced backwards towards the wall, instead of towards the TV, and out the window. The front desk staff's service did not meet 4 star standards in our eyes. They did not give us much information about the hotel when we checked in, and when we would return with questions, we seemed to be an inconvenience to them, and would make us wait while they finished organizing papers. We were also disappointed to see that several of the restaurants were closed when we were there. The Spa was amazing. The couples massage and facial were perfect. The rooftop pool, and main pool was so nice to relax in. And being right on the beach was a blessing.

Service was terrible with the exception of a handful of workers. Check in took about an hour due to only 1 person doing check in. The bed runner was torn. If you are at the pool the bar closes at 6/7pm and if you want drinks after that you can only go to the bar at the beach which is about a 2 minute walk from the pool. They tried giving you a memebership/timeshare when you said no they attitude was terrible! I would not recommend this hotel! They said it’s the newest tower they had and it looked quiet old/worn out. Only the rooms have AC nothing else! No AC in the buffet, no AC in the lobby. Only good thing was the tour concierge and the housekeeper we had
