I am a senior and checked in after a 22 hour travel day at about 0200. Discovered the reservation was for three days and I could only use two days as flying out before third night. They stonewalled me on deleting the third day saying I had to go through their staff to get a change. I did not realize as I had not paid I could have just refused to pay for the last day. But too tired to fight them and signed for the whole thing. Do not expect to ever get a refund for last unused day.

Excellent experience in a very good hotel.
Safe, clean and with a very well appointed room. Everything worked. Housekeeping was exceptional. All the staff were keen to help, were always polite and efficient and friendly. The pool area very nice with amazing views but there wasn’t any shade! The gym facilities were very good and the area was supervised
I would highly recommend the Cinnamon Red Hotel and would stay again in a second.

I use the hotel to prep for a late night departure. The main thing was the cleanliness of the room, and the buffet, which was well worth the approximately 5,000 rupees.

The staff not very helpful. No help with bags. Don’t serve pots of tea, only cups. Pool is only nice thing but not temp controlled so it would be cold in evenings

We arrived at the hotel around 4.00 pm but room was not ready, check in time was 2.00 pm, we have to wait to get the room. They said sorry for that and to compensate offered us compliment drink (coffee). Besides, everything was okay.

We stayed here for the last 6 days of our 5 weeks in Sri Lanka.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool.
The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.
We liked to go to the rooftop bar and have coffee and tea in the morning, which we either made in our room or picked up from the 7th floor. The bar opened in the afternoon and if we were in the hotel we often had a soda water with lime after swimming.
We will recommend this hotel to our anyone travelling to Colombo

Nice clean carpeted rooms . Good Breakfast, plenty of items. Staff very courteous

Most of the staff at the reception and other areas were trainees. My check-in process took around 15 minutes. Had a similar experience to just order a couple of items where I used the food and beverage discount.
Both the room cards got deactivated within a day and had to wait in line again to get them activated

well located, clean , safe , great swimming pool, big various choice on the breakfast, will definitely stay again.
a big thank you to Mr Dananjaya for looking after us on many occasions during our stay when we had issues utilising the tv, the iron or finding our way in the corridor, always here when we needed him, polite, discreet, always smiling, this gentleman has made our stay wonderful and safe!! thank you mister D!
