Ridiculously bad. You don’t get what you pay for. Go find another hotel.
Room: small, with a window to the a big hole with no light, I felt in a prison.
Staff: not customer oriented, they stopped me from getting to the breakfast area because I was wearing sport attire (never seen even in 5-star hotels all over the world)
You get charged at 6pm on your credit card, that’s when they consider it a no-show.

The stay was perfect. Very comfortable. The room service and the paid breakfast were delicious and quite economical. The staff was very hospitable and polite. The only complain is that there were not enough sunbathing chairs at the pool. They were taken all day and there was nowhere else to lay down so we were not able to use the pool.

This was my fourth time here, so that in itself says something.
Staff was, as always, extremely helpful - even when this time I arrived much earlier than checkin time due to an early flight.
The location, too is splendid, the Line6 metro station is right next to it (a 15 second walk), which connects to myriad other lines and stations.
Clientele seems to be nice, because this is one of the very few hotels where every time I could sleep 2-3 nights without earplugs...

We were treated exceptionally well. The front made dinner recommendations and made reservations for us at entertainment venues. They stored luggage while we left for 3 days and returned. Our luggage was already in our room when we returned. Easy on and off the bus, Metro. Amazing.

The hotel is nice and the staff is very nice and helpful. Couple of cons though: Location is not the best. Though the hotel is close to the train station(around 7-9 mins away), there aren't too many restaurants around. Also, the food in their restaurant is not the best. We ate breakfast on the day we arrived and the bacon was a little raw and food was less than OK. The price of the hotel is good but you will need to take a cab to Centro(city center around 10-15mins by cab). Overall a decent experience. We would give it around 3.5 to 4 stars at the most.

This was my third stay at Claridge Hotel, so that in itself probably tells a few things about it.
Apart from the friendly staff, smooth running of the hotel operations, the ability to catch a good night sleep without earplugs because the clientele is not as ignorant and inconsiderate as in surprisingly many hotels of the same category, would also mention that it is ideally placed next to the Conde de Casal underground station (on the Circular line 6) that connects one to myriad places and other metro lines.
For those environmentally minded, the technology that went into the hotel in terms of sustainability and eco-conscious operation is worthy of admiration (there is a video display in the lobby that can take the interested through the solutions used in the hotel's energy management).
