Great location, great room size, i would definitely stay here again. No issues. Very responsive v to our needs. Only suggestion is get Security Guards some costumer service seminars, their attitude can improve.

I would suggest that they buy a pad for the sofa bed. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable.

There are a lot of cockroaches in the kitchen. The noise level is terrible.

Had an enjoyable 8 night stay at the Royal Kuhio. Condo was clean and comfortable. Was provided with dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, and beach towels. A shoe rack, dish rack and small folding clothes drier rack would be an added bonus to the unit. The condo is older but the unit is updated. I would suggest in future renovations to replace the carpets with a laminate as it is easier to clean. Condo is located right in the middle of Waikiki and close to everything. Overall, I would definitely recommend this condo to couples and families.

We stayed here for our first time in Oahu and we loved it! The staff and security were so nice and helpful with any questions that we had. The location was perfect due to it being so close to shops and restaurants. I definitely recommend staying here if you plan on traveling to Oahu. The room was perfect for our family of three. We were supplied with the necessary kitchen appliances and they have a pool, gym, and laundromat all within the building. They even supply you with coins for your laundry so you don’t have to make change at local stores. Our family would be definitely staying here again! Thank you so much!

We stayed here for our first time in Oahu and we loved it! The staff and security were so nice and helpful with any questions that we had. The location was perfect due to it being so close to shops and restaurants. I definitely recommend staying here if you plan on traveling to Oahu. The room was perfect for our family of three. We were supplied with the necessary kitchen appliances and they have a pool, gym, and laundromat all within the building. If you have to stay in Waikiki, then this condo is a nice, budget friendly option with free parking! The unit itself was great! Newly remodeled with everything we needed to be comfortable. The building is older and several repairs were being done during our stay which made our stay less than ideal. The pool was closed most of the day due to exterior building painting, our unit had to be inspected for an hour one day with no definite time window given which rendered the unit useless for the whole day, the parking elevator had a blanket covering the inside due to repair which was very unsightly and the recreation deck really wasn’t useable. The communication about how to check in wasn’t good. We booked through Expedia and when we got to the lobby the security guards at the front desk were very rude when I asked how to check in. There was no signage outside of the check in office to let us know that was where we needed to go and when we did check in the clerk didn’t offer towels or give information on exactly which elevators to use to get to our rooms. The property is center ally located and it’s a 10 minute walk to Waikiki beach- which is overrun with tourists. All in all the property was good for our needs but there is definitely room for improvement.

The actual room was clean however it was a condo with stocked kitchen. It had A pot and A pan and dishes for 4. VERY limited. Didn’t even have a can opener. Had to buy all staples ie…salt/pepper Property was listed as a 7 minute walk to the beach it was at minimum 15 walk and if you wanted to get to the “free “beach it was more than a mile walk. Was super disappointed. Elevators were extremely slow and very dirty The actual resident manager was mean and nasty

This property had many things that worked well for us. Well appointed kitchen in unit. Washer and dryers available; very clean laundry room with good machines. Parking was a huge bonus. Bathroom area with toilet was separate from sink so that worked well for our family. A/Cs worked adequately. Communication about after-hours check-in was great. Security staff were nice. Very walkable to many food options. Our room looked at a parking lot and hanging construction equipment. Construction is ongoing but only bothered us one day of 14. Unlike other reviews, we only saw one single bug in the garage elevator. Nothing in unit. We kept dishes done, trash taken out, and put all food items in fridge. Neither the bed in bedroom nor pull out were comfortable at all. Our first night the sheets were stained with what looked like blood. Resort desk has towels for beach, but were out when we asked. The single biggest drawback to us was noise most of the nights. Granted it’s downtown, but windows did a very poor job of blocking noise from street, club, and sirens. Would still recommend and likely stay here again if needing a place. Just an honest, objective review.
