We only stayed one night but found it very relaxing and chilled. I think they were short on staff because one poor lad was going from the restaurant to the lounge bar. It was clean and comfortable, the room was compact, nice shower and a huge bed! So all in all it was very nice.

Excellent Hotel, the staff were very friendly on entering the reception.
Rooms were basic but clean and tidy.

Fantastic hotel and fantastic staff allways pleasant and helpful stay here every time we come and see family and bonus great train lines in to London so perfectly situated the bar area and rooms have been superbly updated can’t knock it like I say must of stayed here now 6/7 times and never had a bad experience

The people in the room next to me were very noisy. The walls are very thin and not soundproofed otherwise I enjoyed my stay. The receptionist was amazing.

Enjoyed a two night stay at Stifford Hall. Most staff were so friendly and helpful. I did feel slightly “in the way” as we were told we were not allowed to have dinner in the dining hall as it was being used by others.

Really good staff, plenty of parking.
Good bar food and great breakfast.
Clean room and looked recently refurbished, but window slightly breezy and aircon dripped water after it had been on for a while.
Overall very good so will be back.

Business stay. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. My only complaint is that my room was right next to the housekeepers room and I was woken early by them getting ready
