5 minutes from the Hotel there are 2 good restaurants - one an excellent Italian restaurant , the other a magical creperie The Campanile has an excellent buffet breakfast the night we were there there was no evening food possibly because they had a large coach party.

Basic but perfectly suitable for a quick overnight stay. The doors do bang a bit when they close like any fire safety door and beds are on firm side but for the price excellent. We slept made a cup of tea and showered and we’re off on the road. Recommended

Just an overnight stay before traveling to Normandy. Served it’s purpose: good night sleep, nice staff, breakfast was fine not spectacular not bad it had enough options to be happy breakfast. Would recommend for the one night stay over if you need a simple value hotel in St Malo.

Clean, very quiet, perfectly fine for our one night stay close to the ferry port. Plenty of parking space close to our room. Area around the hotel looks a bit unexciting but in fact a very nice little village within easy walking distance. Good creperie on the main street, home cooking, local produce reasonable price.

Very basic but perfect for a short stay. Internet was good, parking was easy, only problem is that on google maps it took me to the road over. It's not difficult to find though, right next to the BnB.

Lovely and quaint little place, staff was excellent, friendly and attentive and the room was clean.
The only bad thing I could find was the soundproofing, which left to be desired.

Very welcoming and accommodating. The meals were very enjoyable and the room comfortable.

Have stayed in a Campanile hotel before in Bruges that was fine. This one is a bit tired the main building is fine the room blocks and rooms themselves do need some refurbishment. Sanitary ware and taps seem to have been replaced recently but basin was badly cracked.
Carpet did not look good and exterior definitely needed major decoration.
Otherwise staff helpful and friendly meals quite good room size and beds all OK

Very noisy, we could hear the people above our room talking unit midnight. Had to knock on the ceiling to get them stop.

Pleasant spot convenient to ferry terminal. Far enough away to be quieter than town centre. Good link to motorway.

Advertised tea & coffee facilities but only two coffee sachets, one tea bag and the two little milk containers were out of date and had turned. Having just driven from Bordeaux it was pretty disappointing not to have a cup of coffee at least. Having said all that I slept well, the air con was effective and we got the ferry first thing no problem. As an overnight stay it was acceptable but a bit of a disappointment considering it was not a cheap hotel. Probably won't stay again.
