The staff at the Inn were excellent. The location is perfect for enjoying beautiful, historic Newport RI. Transportation was easily available, but the neighborhood is a walkers dream. Beautiful historic buildings, shops are everywhere. Breakfast was excellent and included a wide variety in a very comfortable setting. It is on older building, but well kept and very comfortable. We would return without hesitation.

I was a little surprised at first about the age of the building and tight space of the room, but then remembered that this is an aged historic area. The staff were all wonderful.

The hotel and room were very nice. It is located right in the middle of downtown so there are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The breakfast in the morning was excellent - lots of fresh fruits were available along with French toast, eggs, bacon, etc. The bed was a bit too soft for my liking, but otherwise it was great.

Cute, clean, friendly front desk staff. Convenient walking area. Parking $20 for 24 hours across the street. Rooms are dated but comfortable. We would stay here again.

Nice rooms in a historic type building. Beds were really comfortable. Location is in the middle of everything. Lots to see and eat nearby. Breakfast was far better than the usual hotel breakfast with what seemed like homemade coffee cakes.

After looking through the ratings and reviews online, we were looking forward to our stay. However, the unit that we booked had ants in the bathroom and sitting room area when we arrived and the bathroom was dirty. We asked if there was another unit available. The front desk showed us a basement unit, but that also had ants. When I pulled back the bed comforter, there was hair on the pillow. The front desk person was with us and we both took pictures of the hair and ants. I asked if there was housecleaning that could be contacted to clean the unit and change the sheets. I was told that that I had to take the unit as is or would be charged the full price unless someone else rented the unit that night. I called Expedia. They called the front desk and were told the hotel would not issue a refund despite the ants and lack of cleaning services. After about 2 hours of phone calls (including with an Expedia supervisor who also tried to speak with the hotel) we decided to leave to enjoy the remaining time we had in Newport. We had to pay outright for another hotel. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

The price I paid via Expedia was not the price the hotel told me on their invoice. It was much lower!!!! The Breakfast was as good as seen on the foto. They had an additional free afternoon tea. Only the tea Water could be better! The room was ok, but I could not figure out how to change the volume on the TV...

Great Location They did the little things that were nice

The location is two minute walk to the warf area with all the shops and dining there. There plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and confectionery stores just outside of the inn. The inn was very clean and rooms comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Decent for the price. Clean. Doors need updating -still had actual keys!

It is convenient to the area shopping and restaurants. Very accommodating staff. Parking is a challenge in Newport but the lot across the street is very close. Would definitely stay here again.
