The staff were excellent, they were very welcoming on my arrival and any questions or requests were answered promptly. I was able to check into my room early and had use of a room for a late check out. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Ease of signing in. Was shown to my room and where the facilities were. Also due to early morning checkout where the easiest exit would be. Just letting me know everything I needed to know.

Hi, I did not receive confirmation of this booking and could not see a payment in my bank account for it. As a result, I believed I had failed to book it. So I rebooked with another motel without issue. Who do I contact to arrange a refund of the cost of the accomodation which has now shown up in my bank account as pending. Regards Jim

The Pier Hotel is a boutique style Hotel with good sized rooms and ensuite bathrooms. It's a great atmosphere, located in a walk-to-the-beach part of town, with plenty of places to eat (including the Hotel itself) just out the door. The only small detail I would change is their pillows. New ones would be good.

The room was clean, we paid for a queen bed and was disappointed with a hard double bed. It was above the pub which meant a little bit of noise, but wasnt too bad. The meal downstairs in the bistro was very good quality. Was unsure what a shared bathroom was, and we guess that could be a little bit awkward sharing with all other rooms in the hotel, but bathroom was very clean and there were lovely little touches around the hotel which was nice to this unique stay.

The vibe was good and the area is becoming cool. The room is newly painted but a small fridge for milk and a toaster would be greatly appreciated. Shared bathroom and toilet but that is reflected in the price.

Great location. Clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet and safe. Excellent staff and service, all only to happy to assist. Awesome food from the bistro. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to family and friends. Thank you

This is excellent pub accommodation. The fundamental requirements were achieved. I had an ensuite room and although the bathroom size was small, the shower was hot with great water pressure. The bed was comfortable. Check in was as easy as it can be at a pub. Could I hear the band? Absolutely. Did it keep me awake? Nope. On a cost versus benefit assessment, this is a good place to stay. If I have any suggestions it would be an upgrade of the bedding, but it didn’t keep me awake. I’ve stayed at other historic pubs who met the “frills” side of the equation extremely well, but had showers that never exceeded a dribble and 1/2-2/3 the room space. Giving a thumbs up for the value of the stay.

High quality modern rooms and great value. Very close to the train station. I travel from Sydney and walk to hotel and making a cup of tea in my room within 15 mins.

Staff very accommodating We held a function for a group of over 30 in the front room and were very happy with the service we received. The hotel ran their courtesy bus to the race track for our group. Rooms very clean with comfy bed and great pressure in the shower. Would highly recommend for large groups.
