Perfect location and accommodations to match.

Could not have had a more disappointing stay. Booked an "ocean view" room with two bedrooms (not cheap). Drove 5 hours to get there from Washington state to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. See the attached photos for the "view." I called the office right away to see about switching to a room that had an actual view, and the gentleman said they could switch us to a spa room at their other property the next night. We went in the morning to see this other room, but, unfortunately, it only had one bedroom, and we needed two. They had another view room at this other property for $609, and were told we would have had to pay the difference. Finally, the unit above our original room was available to move into, but it had the same miserable "view." These alternate rooms were insufficient suggestions for resolution, and we therefore had to search other properties for a view room for our second night. Upon trying to leave, we were told by the lady at the front desk that they could not give us a refund for the second night as they had a two night minimum and they had "offered us other rooms". She said if someone else booked the room we were leaving and not using, we could get a refund. This will not happen as they are still showing this room as "sold out". Surely in an attempt to refuse us a refund. The issue here is that we paid $900 for a room that was advertised as having a view, and the property was unable to supply what was advertised.

We loved it again and even got the same room. We visited last February and decided to come back for a weekend. We we checked in they didnt act like they had never done this before. Very quick and efficient. Will love to visit again, soon.

Great room, didn’t realize we were right next to the jacuzzi since it was never mentioned at checkin. Amazing views of the ocean, it’s right outside the back door, so peaceful and relaxing!

Great stay on Cannon Beach! Location, room with private small terrace in addition to a fireplace in the room in kitchen area made it the perfect stay away from home for beach getaway.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay, a couple of things to consider: there is no AC, they do have a fan and we opened the balcony and entrance doors to get a nice cross breeze and that worked well to cool the room. The room is on the third floor and there’s no elevator so be prepared for some stairs. It’s a cozy little hideaway with a fantastic view of the ocean and access to just about everything you would want to check out in Cannon Beach.

Firewood and kindling available for purchase for magical evening fires on the beach. The pelicans and gulls make for lovely entertainment in the estuary while Haystack rock looms on the left and the "Goonies" sea stacks frame your view on the right. In walking distance to all restaurants, coffee shops, and tourist attractions in Cannon Beach. Just a couple (if even) miles away by car to Ecola State Park. Terrible Tilly guards the coast, and can be seen on clear days from the balcony! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Paid for a beach view and although we could see the beach, we had to overlook the street of cars to see anything. The pictures were a little deceiving.
