Our experience at Riu Santa Fe was incredibly disappointing, largely due to the misleading and frustrating behavior of Fernanda at check-in. We paid in full when we arrived, only to be hounded with calls two days later, demanding an additional $350. Despite our explanations, the staff continued to call our room, disrupting our stay and ruining our vacation. We ultimately decided to cut our trip short and check out. As visitors from Minneapolis, USA, we had numerous vacation options and regret choosing Riu Santa Fe. After working hard to treat my family to a memorable vacation, this experience left us with nothing but frustration.

I am super picky about food. I will say: the food as amazing! Fresh, good quality, abundant, variety, tasty, well prepared. We were very satisfied with the food.The staff also was incredible. Everyone so kind, helpful, and caring. Rooms were clean, nothing fancy, the beds and pillows were comfy. We slept well and got good restful nights. Air conditioner worked well the whole time. I have stayed in many all inclusive hotels and this hotel impressed me, specially for the food!

Well if anyone had a bad experience I don’t see how everything was great I loved the rooms the food the people the entertainment; everyone super nice I mean super nice if they didn’t have an answer they will find it I will definitely be back next year don’t be fooled be the price it’s the best for ur money.

The resort is amazing. It exceeded our expectations. The pools were beautiful. The food was great. The staff was wonderful. My only complaint is to please replenish the coffee more often in the rooms. Other than that the experience was outstanding

This is a great budget all-inclusive but not a 5 Star experience. There is a lot of walking to get to the pools but the ocean side pool and beach are really nice We found the food to be very institutional. The quality of meats, cheeses and fish was 3 star at best.

Very clean and safe to walk around, Foods- are alright, more of a cafeteria type foods. Would prefer more authentic mexican foods and handmade tortillas would great! lots of mosquitoes trying to get into rooms. keep doors closed!!

I loved this place but the only thing is needed is a electric chair which help who using a wheelchair to go inside the pool.

The hotel is a good option if you take advantage of the all inclusive concept, the food is ok and plenty options to choose from , don’t over eat or you will have a stomach ache the next day after. The pools are clean, I personally would avoid the pools facing the beach since heavy drinkers go there, don’t expect high end liquor and the best service from bartenders they can be greedy most often than not. Rooms have been nicely remodeled comparing it to my last stay there 10 years ago, but like everything it has its week point which is the worst bed I have slept in any hotel, I brought this to the receptionist attention which only suggested adding a foaming topper over it so be aware of that and at least ask for it as soon as you arrive. Animation in the pool area is very boring also this can definitely be improved. Other than that only good things to say, I saw a lot of kids and parents having fun so don’t be afraid to bring the whole family.
