Nice comfortable quiet hotel. Very helpful receptionist when we checked in. Good breakfast. Nice pool.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was spacious for three adults. There was a keurig in the room for tea and coffee. The main bed was in a closet like room and the bed was comfy. The sofa bed was hard and you could feel the springs. I’d recommend sleeping on the couch and not using the sofa bed as the couch cushions were soft and comfortable to sit on. There’s a hot breakfast which was lovely but get there early or you won’t get a seat!

Was able to get my room early. All staff encountered was very friendly and professional. Will return next time we stay in Chemainus.

This is a gem of a Hotel in a beautiful little village

Booked a one bedroom King Suite with kitchenette and pull-out couch in the livingroom. The bedroom walls did not actually connect to the ceiling so there was minimal privacy and zero soundproofing. The shower/tub drain was entirely clogged. So, front desk gave us a key to shower in another room, but to "be quick and not stay in there because it smells funny". Turned out there was an Ozone machine running to disinfect the 2nd room. We took pictures of the machine and informed the front desk that it causes lung irritations, heart palipations etc. Front desk was unconcerned with the complaint and didnt care that my family had to shower in the tub with the clogged drain-- causing 12 inches of human soup that the last family member had to stand in. GROSS.

Best Western plus is a good 3 stars hotel, convinient location, off the hwy, quiet, comfy beds, clean, kind personnel, swimming pool, breakfast included (not overwhelming, but enough to start the day). Breakfast is a bit early for our liking 6:30-9:30 am. Chemainus town is a small gem, murals on the buildings, well kept Wild West style buildings, very cute cafes, alleys, shops, beautiful waterwheel park. This little town is full of Canadian history. It was a pleasant surprise on our drive to Victoria.

The staff at this property were amazing. The property was full and they worked very hard to keep the rooms clean. Breakfast was very good and nice to have.

Close to the theatre. Otherwise too expensive ($355. for a few hours.) Noisy. Located beside oil unloading dock. Trucks running all night.

An unexpected pleasant surprise! The hotel is very clean, our room with a queen bed and pull out couch for the kids was spacious, clean and has a well equipped little kitchen. Amanda at the front desk is amazing! She had everything I needed and more and always helped with a smile. Pay laundry on site was a bonus as I didn’t see that in the hotel description. They had change and soap too. The town is charming and is highly recommend a stop here.
