Beautiful views of the beach, bit of a walk into the old town but worth it for the variety of restaurants and bars. Staff are lovely in the hotel and nothing is too much trouble.

My stay was short but absolutely amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are also beautifully done with the most comfortable bed I have had in a hotel in a LONG time! It literally felt like clouds in heaven. The only thing rivaling the beauty and comfort of this hotel was the incredibly kind hospitality of the staff. I am so grateful to have found this stay after the hotel in Lezama that I booked 6 months before, cancelled my reservation 3 days before arrival literally leaving me stranded on my first trip to Spain. It was actually a blessing in hind sight as I had the honor of spending a very peaceful stay by the sea in total comfort with all the amenities I could possibly need or want. Thank you Hotel Las Rocas!!!

A very well kept hotel with welcoming and helpful staff, but pricey at £130 for B&B for two, in my opinion. Room was a good size and comfortable. Handle loose in bathroom, but a minor complaint.

Second time to stay here.Excellent hotel. Spotlessly clean and ideally located close to Bilbao. Beautiful promenade and beach just across the road. Hotel was amazingly quiet so a really good night’s sleep ensued.

Besutiful, spotlessly clean hotel in a fantastic location across from a beach, but needs doible glazing and sound proofing. Noise from other rooms of babies crying, chairs scraping in the room above and a latge dog barking across from the hotel made sleep very challenging.

The hotel was great, but was charged extra for breakfast and parking when we thought these amenities were included, so it wound up being more expensive than anticipated.

The hotel is close to the beach and an easy walk to the main town centre. The room was spacious and clean. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear voices from the neighbouring rooms but it wasn't too much of a disturbance. The bed was super comfortable and i enjoyed a great night sleep. There was a nice selection at breakfast, all continental - no hot food but the croissants were amazing!! The only down side was nobody at reception spoke any English, fortunately we were travelling with someone who spoke spanish otherwise it may have been a little difficult

The hotel is very well situated, close to the seafront and an excellent beach. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. I very much appreciated the secure car park which is just across the street from the hotel. The only disappointment with our stay is that the lack of public toilets in the area resulted in a bad smell throughout the seafront area. This is, of course, not the fault of the hotel.

I know the city well and I know the hotel can charge those prices because of limited availability of options during the summer, but still it was disappointing to check into the room and see very obviously the cleaning was subpar (make up stains in the sink and hairs in the bathtub) and the amenities are so low standard. At that price, they could have some complimentary real coffee in the room and not nescafe and definitely I would have expected a real hair dryer and iron in the room.

A poor check in process. Miserable staff sat some distance from the desk
Then the room was not ready when we got to it. Told to leave our bags and come back later. We had urgent e-mails to deal with and had to do this down in reception. No apology

Some staff chose to ignore us, or became angry if we spoke poor Spanish. Otherwise the room is clean and spacious, and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. The property is 50 m from the beach.
