This resort was very popular but they need to renovate for their price point. The staff was nice but not very helpful. It’s a good location for Napa and the on property restaurants were good. The room has a lot of wear and tear. The gym didn’t have water or towels. Pretty location with a cute vineyard in the back.

The hotel room was a very nice room & the grounds looked nice as well. The problem was the cleanliness of the room itself. Upon arriving & settling into the room we noticed that there was sewage water in both sinks in the bathroom & the shower was still wet. Immediately I called guest services & asked for someone to come unclog/clean the sinks, we were told engineering would be there very soon. While waiting almost 30 minutes for engineering to come I noticed the entry had coffee spills on the floor, the tub had some large particles in it and this just led me to believe either the room was never cleaned or someone literally just checked out before we got there, either way is not a good look. I called guest services again from my cell & I was transferred 4 times to get to someone & on hold for about 15min (between the arriving & calls over an hour had passed at this point) so I started walking to the front desk while on hold and halfway over I was hung up on. In the meantime my girlfriend was in the room trying to get someone to respond and running into the same issues. Upon approaching the front desk I asked for a manager I was told it would be 20-30 min to talk to the manager. I was really upset by this & couldn’t understand why I couldn’t just change rooms & they could deal with the raw sewage on their time. Now I have paid for a room I can’t use, I was late for food reservations & I had to wait? Poor service, no immediate refund & the hotel blamed hotels.com for the refund

Resort was very nice and we enjoyed our stay! The Olive Hay restaurant had a great breakfast and worked around food allergies! When we checked in, they didn’t have the room available that we rented. They gave us a $150 credit to use at the resort though. We were at the family pool early one day (9:00am) and there were no towels. I advised front desk staff but there were still no towels by the time we left. Overall it is a nice and clean resort!

Close to downtown Napa valley, Olive and Hay is good. Easy Parking, Many options in Meritage Resort & Spa, and we love take a walk in vineyard.

Front desk and housekeeping staff are rude and questionable. Bar staff, valet, pool staff are the opposite extreme of being nice, friendly and accommodating. Room was not cleaned 2 days in a row (we were out of the room 9:30-4:30). Front desk was actually rude! Actually rude! And I was part of a wedding party that had probably spent easily over 150K that weekend at this resort.
Only giving it 2 stars for the bar, pool and valet staff.
Don't get iced tea, coffee etc at the little market across the street. Burnt!!!

A good property, lots of facilities, nice pool area. We couldnt get through to concierge at all, so couldn't get help with our bags or queries. Food was OK.

We had a great time! The hotel upgraded our room to a junior sweet for our anniversary, they gave us a bottle of bubbly and A glass of champagne at dinner on our anniversary night. I feel like they went above and beyond! We loved walking the vineyard at night and in the mornings. The pool was fun! We absolutely loved our trip.

We paid extra for a Vineyard View room with a balcony - at check in - I asked for a quiet room if at all possible. The first room they gave us had no balcony and was directly on the pool with no “view” except the loud DJ at the pool. We went back and they assured us we would then be in a “Vineyard View” - it looked directly into a parking lot with a dumpster directly in front of our patio. The bathroom constantly had ants crawling in it and we could hear every footstep of the people in the room above us. We severely disappointed especially considering the cost.

Terrible stay. Our room was not cleaned for 2 days. The first time it was missed, they told us it would be cleaned the next day. The next day it was missed again, and we didn't want them to come because it was so late in the day, we just wanted to relax. They came and cleaned the room quickly, but not well. The calls to the front desk took MULTIPLE attempts before we could speak to anyone. Napa was gorgeous, but i spent too much time trying to deal with this overpriced, underwhelming "resort"
