Our bungalow was right next to the street and it was therefore very noisy at night. The location of the pool and restaurant is very nice.

Amazing views. Check in could have been smoother and friendlier. Bed to hard. Excellent pool with sea view. Some of the restaurant staff don't speak much English.

Love the High Life! Love Haad Yao, love Koh Phangan Thailand! The peeps at the High Life are the best! Tok, Noi, Bhoda they all try their best to make you feel at home and they do! If you get a chance to stay at the High Life you should... try the Thai Spicy Seafood Salad, try the Panang Curry with Chicken, definitely order the No Nane and wash it all down with a Sang Som and Coke! We’ll definitely be back at the High Life again!

Great staff. Nice and quiet location. Close access to beach. Beds were a bit hard and wi-fi was spotty at times.

The location is beautiful but the whole resort is not managed very well. Many things in the main area (e.g. pool) and in the bungalow were dirty or damaged. The staff was not very friendly and attentive. We did not feel very welcome during our stay

The food was amazing! Some of the best on the island! The staff was very helpful and friendly and the pool was phenomenal! If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it!

I don't feel it deserves the reviews that made me choose this place. The rooms are clean upon arrival, but in the four days I stayed there, they didn't clean them once. The next place I stayed in was much cheaper and they cleaned almost every day, replaced the water etc. Pool is nice, but its a walk to the beach down hill, which is ok, food is a little expensive and average. But the two things that I didn't like is that the guy really overcharged me for a bike hire, I found out, it was an old bike and he was charging 250 bhat a day, you can get one for 100 a day in this condition. Also, I left a swimming costume in my room and went back to get it, and it had magically disappeared, they said they threw it out. I guess these are small personal problems, but the other places I stayed in were much more personal, cheaper, and better.

Really gorgeous beach bungalows overlooking Gulf of Thailand with great beach scene only a stairway down the hill. Good food at the outdoor restaurant and away from the fullmoon party stuff. Definitely will stay again!!!!!

Over all a nice place to stay, but a lover priced for what you get. My room spacious, fairly clean, hot strong shower, the room was fairly clean, but could be better considering price. My room was at the top of the “cliff “ so I had a nice view but a lot of stairs to climb every time I came and went, which was often. For my purposes as I was there for a course I didn’t care about the view I needed to have easy access to room,asked for one a little closer to street level but not surprisingly they said they didnt have any other, but I passed by a few which seemed empty. Location is quite good, close to some restaurants etc...and Haad Yao beach is just down more stairs from the hotel main area (pool restaurant area)this beach in my opinion is one of the nicest, quietest,compared to others, beaches on the island. The restaurant is nice, laid back vibe lots and quiet little spots to hang out and good food. The staff although not rude, were not the most welcoming of people. We loved the place! From the first steps to the reseption we loved it! Staff was great! So friendly and nice, they were already expecting us and they had our reservation tickets on the table ready for us. Bungalow was incredible! All wooden floors, walls etc. Everything was like new and smelld like new and fresh! There was hammocs in every bungalows patio, which was great! The view from the bungalow was garden and it was great! Frogs croaked at nights, butterflies flew at daytimes. The view from the pool was marvellous! To the beach (Haad Yao) and to the sea! And short walk to the beach (Haad Yao) and walking distance from the Haad Son beach. Pool area really nice and cozy. Hammocs and pillows where to sit at the restaurant and bar. Music at the restaurant and bar was kind of reggae, chilling out place! Food was excellent! Drinks too! Bartenders were great! They helped us to find our missing phone that we forgot to the taxi! Oh and there was a great system with the paying at the restaurant. They had a book where you wrote what you had orderd and when you checked out you could pay them off. So you didn't have to carry any money with you while you were at the hotel area! Beach towels free and cleaning only when you wanted. They had a box where you could leave your room key and then they went and cleaned the room! Great system!
