We stayed for two nights and everything was perfect. The room was clean, and the wood decor was perfect. Dinner and breakfast for both days were different, it was both very nice food!!

Wonderful baths, beautiful views, delicious Japanese food, exceptionally warm and helpful staff. Truly a wonderful get away. The chef graciously accommodated our vegetarian diet. Staff made sure all our needs were met and helped facilitate transportation for a day trip to Nachi Falls. Amenities were thoughtful. Grounds were under some renovation during our visit, but it was peaceful and very enjoyable. Wakayama station was a convenient hub for coming and going.

The room is really comfortable and with private spa. The whole environment make me very relax. I enjoy to stay in the hotel very much.

Staff were friendly but not informative. They didn’t inform us about the amenities to use for the onsen. Onsen too cramp and products offer are limited. No socks provided in the room too. We booked half board but was told it’s room only. The hot water takes 5 mins to come out. View is beautiful

My children are afraid of lizard . Unfortunately , there was one lizard in our washroom during our stay .if you have kids who are afraid of insects , be aware of that

Very traditional. Could use some TLC in the rooms. Bathhouse lovely. Staff very nice. Traditional breakfast only, but lovely.

- most of the staff was very helpful, especially helping us to make reservation to other activities since we do not speak Japanese . ( except one male staff who refuse to make phone call to the strawberry farm to make reservation for us ). - The view was excellent , the room was tidy and comfy - the guest lounge was nice with free coffee and tea - Very nice meal ( both dinner and breakfast )
