Upon arriving at the hotel, the clerk was very friendly & accommodating and check-in was quick and smooth. When we got to our room, there was an issue with the a/c, so the clerk very quickly moved us to another room. When going into the 2nd room, it was 2 full size beds, rather than 1 king bed that we had reserved. The clerk quickly moved us to a 3rd room, and upgraded it to a King Suite for the trouble. The room was Very Nice & Comfortable, and was Perfect for our needs. The Continental Breakfast was Delicious Each Morning, and We Enjoyed the Endless Coffee Provided in the Hotel Lobby. We Will Definitely Be Staying Here Again When in St. Charles. Thank You So Much for Your Kindness & Generosity!

When we got to our room, there was an issue with the a/c, so the clerk very quickly moved us to another room. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible. Upon check-in and check-out, the desk attendant wasn’t easily able to locate. The floors in the room, including in the bathroom, were visibly dirty. They looked as though they had just been swept and not mopped between stays. The shower had two shampoo bottles and no conditioner. Sound in between floors and rooms travels terribly. Every step that the people in the room above us took was easily heard in our room. The hotel didn’t seem overly crowded but we were placed in the room immediately by the elevator doors, the highest traffic area of the floor. The breakfast options were impressive.

My sheets were not clean I pulled my covers back and they appeared to have what looked like to be stains of brown stool. I asked for a clean set and was given a new set. The food court needs hand sanitizer posted on the wall or a bottom near the food.

VERY loud outside noise in the rooms. Bad signage leading into the hotel; had to circle the block twice. Pillows and bed were subpar and uncomfortable.

Very nice, spacious room. Stayed for a fight at the Ameristar. Short walking distance. Nice staff. Good breakfast buffet.

Our room was great, but it took us 45 minutes to get checked in to get a key to our room. There was only 1 person in front of us and it took them forever to get checked in also.

Unfortunately, our room was tired looking and the walls were dirty. The bathroom was dirty with me having to dispose of a spider and its web, wipe up hair from the floor and corners, plus the railing in the tub was coming apart. Toilet paper holder basically spun in a circle. The coffee machine wasn't clean either. The staff that greeted us was very polite and the breakfast room staff was very pleasant. We will not stay here again and go to another hotel we have used in St. Charles for future visits.
