I booked an ocean view room through Hotels.com but when I checked in, the hotel gave me a basic room with no view. Even after I contacted support at Hotels.com and support called the hotel to confirm that I had booked a room with a view the hotel refused to give me the room I had paid for. I will not go there again.

Nice friendly people the floors were dirty looking beds seemed clean. Pillows were a mix of soft and hard pillows. Nothing to hang clothes on in closet or bathroom. They were doing some construction and upgrades to part of the hotel. They have a nice pool and hot tub area.

At 8:30 am, someone knocked once then came into my room. When I told the front desk that I was undressed and going into the shower and I was now afraid to take a shower, the girl at the decked laughed and said sorry. Pipes were extremely loud, I could hear every time multiple sinks, showers or toilets used. I stayed only one night

Hotels.com jacked up or reservation. It should have been an ocean view and it was not. The lady was rude. You owe us our money back.

Nice overnight stay! Simple continental breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Could use some paint in the bathroom. You can tell it is an older hotel, but I give it 4 out of 5 stars overall.

It was ok. The breakfast wasn’t actually breakfast. No hot food minus bagels. The juice machines were down. There were fleas in my room. That was the worst part. They bit us all night.

The place smelled good, for a dog friendly. It is carpet floors, but CLEAN. Happy with that. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but you have to ask. We forgot to ask for more towels, wash cloths. 2 nights. We survived, but they give the bare minimum. So ask right away for more, if you need more. The pool room is across the parking lot, so in the rain you have to walk to get there. The hot sauna doesn't work. The pool and hot tub were checked by staff (we saw them do it both days! A plus), and the hot tub was at least 101 degrees, so good temp. Overall, the stay was good. Rooms clean and ocean view for us.

Great stay and great staff. Only thing that was sad about was no sauna it is currently broken. And the ocean view was more like another building/ rusty van and people sleeping in cars behind the building so little to no privacy when looking out the windows. Breakfast was also pretty good.

Rooms were nice and we had a great view. We were able to check-in early with no issues. Wish it was a little closer to beach access but it's not too far. Tons of restaurants by the beach access

Staff was helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable. No automatic turndown service (which I personally prefer!) but staff was always available for requests. Great hours for breakfast and the pool, and super close to the Nye Beach district! Would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean. The bed was terrible, drywall & paint needs to be refinished..

Even though they listed the rooms as non-smoking, smoking is still allowed on property, around bldgs, in parking lot. Problem with that is the smoke will still get into your room. We're allergic to the smoke so it is a big issue with us.

The pool looked nice at first, but then a mother with an infant were in the hot tub and the baby had a bowel movement in the pool then another child with them jumped into the feces filled sauna and then washed off his dirty feet in the pool. I complained to the gal at the front desk. She gave me attitude and then threatened to kick me out for complaining. She told me not to bother her guests, as if I would do that, I'm concerned for their safety. The management had no intention of informing the guests that the pool was contaminated. Guests unaware of this continued to swim in the bacteria ridden cesspool. As far as the room it was small, the beach is not accessible from the hotel. There were only two of towels in our room for a two nights stay. We had to get more. The view is exaggerated, it's hard to see the ocean. Oyo Waves Hotel is awful I would never recommend.
