The shower had mildew and soap scam I fell down and hurt my wrist and my leg big bruise left side no handles I am 70 years old and very small awkward shower, no handles to hold on to I wish I would of gotten pictures of that ugly shower.

We had such a great time, we celebrated our wedding anniversary and my birthday. The food was so delicious, we appreciated everything. Highly recommend this place.

It took 3 days of cold showers and complaining until we finally got hot water.
The "all inclusive" and restaurant options are very misleading! The bar, restaurant and buffet are all the same area. You can order a la carte, but you have to pay half price. The "restaurant" is a 3 course meal that you can only go to with a reservation 24 hours in advance and with a voucher. We only got 2 vouchers for a 10 night stay. Buffet themes / meals were not listed/posted. We had to pay to eat at other restaurants twice because the menu at the buffet was not anything we would/could eat. If we knew in advance, we could have used our "vouchers" for those days.
Hours of the pool are only 10am to 10pm. Should be earlier at the very least.
Bar and buffet staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
View from the dinning area and infinity pool was beautiful...saw many wonderful sunsets over dinner.

Our small family had a blast staying at this hotel for a week. Good food, great ambience, nice service. Will be back here in the future for sure.

Side of the hotel we were on needs to be upgraded, furniture and restroom was very outdated and old. Took a while to get warm water in the shower, toilet was clogged although we did not flush toilet paper. Food was delicious, bar hours need to be extended.

Playa Los Arcos is a great property. The location is great, situated close to many restaurants, bars and shopping. The buffet has many options to satisfy any appetite. Although small, we spent the majority of our time in the adult pool, with the ocean only steps away for swimming as well. The staff is amazing. Before our adult beverages were finished, we had another on the way. While I enjoyed my stay, I do not know if I would return. May sound harsh, but there were too many kids. Can’t really fault Los Arcos, though, as the sign does say it’s a family friendly property. My next trip to PVR will include a stay at an adults only resort. If you are traveling with children, this is a great place.

Old and poorly maintained hotel. Very uncomfortable bathrooms (I stayed in two economic rooms). Very professional and friendly staff , very good location, poor buffet .
