The staff at check-in were so helpful. Found we had left our passports in safe at last hotel. The called the last hotel and gave us assurance that our passports would be safe until our return. I also got a reassuring pat on the back from Lidia, the trainee!😘

Very nice hotel, conveniently located next to a shopping mall with parking, restaurants and a large grocery store, very friendly service, great breakfast. Very close to Obidos. Would recommend to anyone going to the area. We received 2 water bottles and cookies as Expedia VIP guests. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Booked a suite room which was a good size. Hotel staff friendly and hotel was in good condition, clean and well equipped. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was similar to any or all hotels.

A good hotel with lots of character. Good breakfast, although no freshly squeezed orange juice :(
Because of the hotel name, I mistakenly thought it was near the water.
Very interesting ceramics museum across the gardens. Also a ceramic factory shop which was where they used to make them, close by. The factory itself has since moved to another location in the town.
Nice market a short walk away.
Short drive to the lovely beaches at Foz do Arelho
