Casamar Suites perfectly captures the chilled vibe of Puerto Escondido! From the moment I arrived, I was met with the warmest of smiles from Indra. I hadn't eaten all day and arrived late in the afternoon. I was a bit too exhausted to try and look for food, and Indra came to the rescue by finding a local restaurant that delivered. All of the concierge staff were above and beyond responsive and helpful. Checking on me daily and offering to get anything I needed. I had the Coco room and it was magical! Having a private terrace, a clean and comfortable hammock, and an amazing view of the beach was good for the soul. The room is perfect for a weeks' stay and the only setback is you may never want to leave Casamar or your terrace! The owners (Don Wil & Ted) and the manager (Luis) go out of their way to meet all of the guests. On Tuesdays they host a meet and greet dinner o bring all of the guests together. I did not want for anything, and will definitely return, and highly recommend! The kitchen "moms" made excellent breakfasts and lunches, it was nice to wake up to free café and have a filling breakfast to start the day. The pool is not heavily chlorinated which was a huge plus! AND, they offer FREE yoga every morning as well as water aerobics in the afternoon. Rosario was a great teacher, and also gave me the most relaxing, full body massage that had me floating out the door. There are tons of places to stay in PE, but if you are looking for a low-key magical week -

The place is nice, clean and the owner and staff are very friendly. Location is awesome. On tuesday night there is a welcome dinner, it is an amazing experience, and food is yummy.
The swimming pool is very clean and big. it is open from 7 am, til 10 pm.
There are plenty restaurants nearby the hotel, but to be honest, is pretty expensive. Prices are thinking for foregneirs.
The only bad thing was that there is no food in the hotel from 5 pm. and in sunday, there is any food because the restaurant is close.

This is our 2nd year in a row coming here. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. Our room (Hibsicus) was perfect as it had AC, ceiling fans and standing fan. Small kitchen with a bar island. It has a refrigerator, oven, toaster, blender, pots, pans and utensils. We had a nice outside patio with a table. The pool was steps from our room and is opened until 10pm and is well lit at night. They have a free meet and greet with a delicious meal and we met the owner Will. You can see the beach from the hotel. Its just a short walk to the beach or go the opposite way to the strip. The staff was helpful and friendly. We look forward to staying here again.

Was disappointed no hot water for showers. No complimentary coffee in the mornings and if you do get it it will cost you more than on the strip. No t.v.

The property was great, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and for a great price. The A/C in the unit was great. The only detail is that our room had a strange (like humid rug) smell although it all was super clean.

In general is a great place to stay. Room has air conditioning and it's own kitchen.
I would like them to offer a better wifi and safe box in everyroom. The check in is to late and check out to early.

Lovely hotel and we loved our icean view room with huge private terrace and separate livig room (Cocos). The only negative was the bed was a bit hard. On Tues, the resort puts on a free dinner forguests with entertainment. This time we had an Indigenous singer - she was amazing. In Thurs there was a movie night. The hotel also offers free daily yoga and free pool aerobics. The grounds are gorgeous and it is in a very convenient location to great restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurant will make you anything you want. They also have weight loss programs and weekly chapel. The owners are American and love to interact with guests and tell stories. A family atmosphere vibe.

Beach Bliss: The sand and surf are practically at your doorstep, making it easy to catch sunrise strolls or sunsets.
Tropical Tranquility: Forget the formality of traditional hotels. Casamar's unique apartments, each decorated with a touch of Mexican flair, offered a homey feel. Stepping outside, the pool invitingly, surrounded by palm trees and comfortable lounge chairs. The complimentary morning coffee was a delightful perk, enjoyed on our private terrace while listening to the gentle murmur of the ocean and birds.
Welcoming Embrace: The staff were the heart of Casamar. Warm, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile, they made us feel like cherished guests. Whether it was recommending hidden gems or simply offering a smile, their genuine hospitality elevated our experience.
Foodie Delights: On-site dining at Casamar was a convenient treat. The restaurant offered a delicious selection of Mexican and international dishes, perfect for fueling beach adventures or unwinding after a day of exploration.
Zen Out: For those seeking ultimate relaxation, the complimentary yoga classes were a wonderful addition. The instructor guided us through mindful Ying yoga, leaving us feeling refreshed.

We've been to PE before and when we decided to come back we found Casamar online and decided to give it a try.
We were not disappointed. So much so that we've booked again for next year.
The property is a real gem, self-contained and immaculately kept. Most units have kitchens and outdoor spaces.
There is an on-site restaurant, a spa, yoga and aquafit as well as 24hr staff.
PE is a great town with lot to do and see, but Puerta Zicatela is even better. Don't miss the whale/dolphin trips.
