This lodged was wonderful situated to visit Lake Louise as it around 20 mins walk and you can explore this beautiful lake and surrounding area. I would advise visiting the other lake nearby, Lake Moraine. With is lake you need to book a shuttle, as no cars are allowed at the lake. The lodge was very nice and had a balcony that we had drinks and breakfast on. The only negative thing was the refrigerator was very noisy , to such an extent that we had to turn it off while we were watching the television and sleeping. Luckily we did not have much food that needed to keep cold. This lodge is a great place to stay to explore the local area. We would recommend it!

The flowers and area in the property are beautiful and well kept. The suite had everything we needed for a 3 day stay exploring the Ice Field parkway, Yoho, and Lake Louise area. They had oatmeal, snacks, teas and coffee which helped out our mornings. They also loaned out bear spray. The only issues for us was the traffics noise at night, pillows are way to high, and the foot board on the bed. Bring earplugs or ear buds for sleeping. I wish they would have had some squishier pillow options that were a bit flatter (lower) because the ones they had made my neck hurt. Also, the bed on the photo didn’t have a foot board, but when we got there it did. Kind of tough for my husband who is 6’5”.

There were spiders in the room. The heater was barely working. I would not recommend staying.

We stayed in a peyto cabin. It was spotless, well furnished and a lovely stay. A nice touch was the bed was still made up daily even though it was essentially self catering. Tea bags, coffee, granola bars, porridge, washing up liquid and bathroom toiletries all provided. A little dark due to the natural wood inside, but plenty of lighting provided. Only took us twenty minutes to walk to Lake Louise plus many other trails from the cabin.

Average airport hotel

The Paradise Lodge & Bungalows have a lovely history and we actually had our stay in one of the original, renovated, bungalows. Nice and quiet away from the bustle of town and Lake Louise but cosy accommodation. Good space and well thought out. There is a small gas heater that adds to the ambience and enough room around the bed to walk around comfortably. The grounds are painstakingly maintained and have been developed over years. Great persistence from the family who started and still own the lodge. The family are approachable and were happy to share their insights into the the property and it's history etc. Very informative and interesting. We were able to book the shuttle to Moraine Lake, after a 45 minute stop at Lake Louise. It was good to get out early and not worry about parking. Also Moraine Lake not being accessible by car either. If you don’t mind a walk the lakefront at Louise is also attainable in less than 25 minutes. Slight uphill walk on a gravel path, however not suitable for luggage to get to the 8X shuttle bus service. The walk to town probably not for everyone either. To get to the village would normally require a vehicle.

The location is great when you are visiting Lake Louise. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds, great views. Thanks to the staff for delaying closing while we were using the laundry room.

We enjoyed our stay! Walk to Lake Louise was about a mile. Cabin was quiet and convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Our cabin was lovely and had everything we could have needed! The grounds were so attractive and even though there was road construction in front of the property, it didn’t affect the experience. We enjoyed being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Louise. We would recommend it!
