We were only at Chewuch for a single night. My husband and I were traveling with my sister and brother in law hiking throughout Washington. Each couple had a separate room. Pros: front office lady (didn’t get her name) was so sweet and helpful when we told her our issues and immediately tried to fix the problems. Breakfast was really good! Great coffee, homemade scones/cakes/muffins. There was a common room that was open all night with games/puzzles/books. Our foursome played games there in the evening. Cons: our room was tiny. There wasn’t room to put our luggage anywhere except in front of the door and I worry that would be a problem if there was a fire or something like that. We did not have a small refrigerator in our room. When we arrived at our room, I went to use the bathroom and unfortunately someone else had already used it and didn’t flush. It wasn’t #1 either. That immediately told me that the room hadn’t been cleaned. We checked the sheets and there was also evidence that they had been used. The sweet front office lady came and cleaned and changed the sheets but I didn’t feel clean my entire stay. The bathroom shower curtain only had a few curtain holders on the top and the rest was pinned to the wall with the hanging line thing. The liner was all moldy because it was doubled up and probably never dried. Overall, cannot recommend Chewuch and I would not choose to stay here again.

Great base to explore the North Cascade trail and surrounding areas. Spent two nights which was ample time. The Cabins are close to local amenities which made it easy too.

Lovely, quiet, picturesque, comfortable ... we stayed in one of their larger cabins and really liked it. Added an additional night to our stay. Nice staff and a good breakfast (meatless, so no bacon from you bacon lovers) with but you get egg in the form or a crustless quiche, breakfast cakes and breads, good coffee, etc. We have a private patio and private hot tub and a view out the back of trees as opposed to another cabin. Downtown Winthrop with its Old West style buildings is about a mile away across the Methow River. We would come back for sure.

Very quiet and kitschy inn that has additional amenities like dvds and board games, snacks in dining area, and free breakfast. Staff is friendly but hard to get a hold of if not on site if anything is needed.

Great breakfast which had some variation everyday. Great coffee that was available all day. Our room could have been a bit cleaner. Upon arrival it appeared some male had used the toilet not wiping the rim. Also, the coffee cups in our room had an oily film on the glass. Neither of these is a deal breaker. We just went and got clean cups and wiped the toilet. This a quaint quiet family oriented place where I would stay in the future. Short walk to Winthrop.

We found the rustic style of Chewuch Inn and Cabins delightful. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the included breakfast was delicious.

This place is just ok. A little dated but kind of quaint. Breakfast eggs were good and the blueberry pudding was delicious. The grounds need some weeding and rooms need some updating but everyone was friendly and the location was good.

The cabins are cute, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly. They have an amazing breakfast. More than the usual waffles, yogurt and fruit. They also have an assortment of books, movies and games that you can borrow while there. I would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in a cabin with a hot tub! It felt private, was very clean, and well stocked. The staff is very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful in the mornings with homemade egg bakes and bakery items as well as other options to pick from. This location was convenient for us to walk into town and jump on bike/walking trails. We look forward to visiting Winthrop again and will be sure to stay here!

After a long drive, we got told they would clean it and we could come back later. We went back to town for dinner, instead of cooking at the cabin as planned. Received a call about 1.5 hrs later that it was done and we could come back. Although much cleaner, floors still very dirty. Once settled, we did enjoy the cabin overall, hot tub and robes.
