It was a lovely stay, staff were really friendly, the rooms were lovely. Only complaint I'd have is when we went to shower the water wasn't hot at all, it was barely warm, this could have been because we showered late in the evening but apart from this this place was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was really yummy and a super quick service.

A lovely stay. The room was beautifully done, very clean and loved the small touches such as the little bottles of milk and orange juice, alongside some handmade biscuits!
Staff were so lovely! We had our evening meal at the pub and that was really yummy and couldnt fault it!
Will be coming back!

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spotlessly clean, every thing you needed for your stay, really comfy bed, plenty of parking, best breakfast we’ve had, a little more variety on the evening menu would be good,

Lovely staff, nice room and gorgeous garden. Only downfall was our daughter found the sofa bed a bit uncomfortable

Booked as a half way break for the kids Essex to Devon, and plan to revisit regardless of itinerary. Pub/rooms where awesome. food and staff amazing. try it - you won't be disappointed!

A great stay at a lovely pub in a pretty village. Rich and the team made us very welcome. The rooms are spotless and comfortable with lovely extras touches such as fresh milk and juice in the fridge. The pub serves good food - both for the hearty breakfasts and for evening meals. There is a wide selection and good use of fresh local produce.
If the weather permits, the outside space is lovely; lots of seating options in a large, pretty garden which also produces some of the veg for dinner.
Definitely worth a visit as a pub and for an excellent stay.

Bed was really comfortable and I had a great sleep. Food in the evening was great and in the morning they were kind enough to make a take away breakfast bap as I had to leave early. 10/10.

Stayed for a full week to visit area. Room was large and very comfortable with large bathroom all in near new condition. We ate in the restaurant 3 times, good menu, not just your usual pup food, excellent standard, superb service. Breakfast has large choice, full breakfast was huge, all sourced locally and of high quality. Staff were very friendly, very efficient, new what they were doing. Excellent stay and would definitely recommend and return

Stayed here for my birthday as wanted somewhere close to Frome and Stourhead. Lovely room with everything you need; sympathetically restored old building with 5 bedrooms. Bed very comfortable and shower very good. Stayed for an evening meal and enjoyed the lovely breakfast.

Only thing we found was walls were very thin so could hear tv and talking next door .
We had a meal at lunch fish & chips very nice . But cooked breakfast disappointing as everything was under cooked and poached eggs still raw .But there was a good choice of fresh bread , pastries to help yourself too .
