Very clean and nice

We were visiting family at UAB hospital and found this hotel last minute. We arrived late, after 10pm, and the front desk was super courteous and kind. Our room was clean without even any stray stuff in the corners of the bathroom, as can often be found. The beds were comfy and room amenities perfect. The breakfast in the morning was top notch. It was maybe 15-20 minutes to the hospital depending on traffic, and we felt very safe in the area. It's a beautiful area around the hotel. There was ample parking, even on a weekend night, with easy access to the hotel. My only negatives: Our neighbors were loud and woke me up the 2nd night, which was more about the neighbors and less about the hotel, since for the most part the hotel was quiet and pretty well sound-proofed as hotels go. Most of the staff was incredible, but there were one or two staff members we came across that clearly did not want to be there or do their job. They weren't outright 'rude', just obviously were trying to avoid being asked anything or bothered. I was going to sit by the pool, which looked nice, but wasn't able to access it for some reason. My key card worked everywhere else but the pool. There are two washers and dryers on site for personal use. It cost a bit more than I was expecting, and of course to buy laundry detergent or anything in the convenience area was excessively priced. All in all, we would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Second time I stayed bringing my daughter to college . Perfect spot to stop shop and eat .

I have stayed in many home 2 suites the last 7 years - this one was disappointing - the lobby had lights off when I arrived as did the front desk area - maybe this is how this location handles its common areas - it came off as very univiting - the room has NO toilet paper and there were not additional sheets pillows or blanket for the pull out sofa - . Breakfast was also more disposing - the lights were not turned on until 20 minutes after breakfast started , the juice machine was also turned o. Late . The employee was doing but breakfast and front desk - I did not fault her I just didn’t understand why there were not other employees like other locations I have been too - the employees on both night and early morning shift were doing the next they could with what they had . This location disappointed she be owned by higher ups within the organization . The whole experience left a bad impression .

I don’t always fill out reviews, but this property deserves all the props they can get. It is so well-maintained, and there’s not an unfriendly face in the building. Everyone was so helpful and deserve to be commended! We will definitely be back.

Just stayed one night. Room very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Beds comfortable. Near lots of places to eat. Staff very nice. Would stay again

The room was great, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast and coffee were great, as usual. My only issues were there was no shampoo or body wash in the dispensers in the shower and when we got ready for bed the bedding for the sofa bed was not in the room...and we ended up having to go back down to the front desk to pick it up.

Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Check out was rough. We used hotels.com and the lady first made me wait through 6 answered phone calls to acknowledge me then refused to give an itemized receipt for our records.
