The place was beautiful and paceful, al staff was friendly and ready to hear us. On our welcome Juan explain all about the hotel and arroynd island, Don Jose fix the key o our room, and the amazin guys to the Restaurant Gabriel and Marcelo bring us the fantastic Food and service.

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) spent a week at Deluxe Apartments Holbox. Overall, we had a nice stay and would recommend it. Pros: 1. Excellent location, one minute walk from the beach. 2. Staff was helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport, and arranging a COVID test prior to our departure. 3. The apartment was clean and safe. Cons: 1. The pictures on Expedia show the terrace on the roof but do not mention that this is NOT a shared space, it is only available if you reserve the 3-bedroom units on the upper level. We had one of the 2-bedroom units on the floor level, and were told we could not access the terrace. This was disappointing, as it was not specified at the time we made the reservation. 2. There is quite a bit of construction happening on the property, so when we were relaxing by the pool, it was rather noisy. The construction area is hidden behind a fence, but it was rather loud and not very peaceful. 3. Although the hotel is not in a busy area, there are golf carts going by even during the night. We slept with the windows open and were occasionally woken up during the night due to the noise from outside. 4. As other reviews have mentioned, the breakfast is rather sparse. They had toast with butter and jam and Nutella, some fresh fruit (papaya and melon), some yogurt and granola, corn flakes and milk, and fresh orange juice and coffee, but the quantities were VERY limited and not enough for all of the guests.

This place is SOOOO under rated, the entire experience was amazing! Place is Zen~ish, super relaxing, close to nature but better wifi than what I expected in Holbx. Staffs are top notch.

The property had a very nice pool area and a very nice lanai/porch that we enjoyed every morning and every night, there was a nice breeze and wonderful tropical plants. There were mosquitos but we had expected that as this is a tropical island. The property was very quiet and we were all able to relax and sleep in every morning. The property is only 1 block from a beautiful beach that did not have the seaweed problem that they had farther into town. Please be aware if you book on Expedia you have to pay the property IN CASH (Pesos) when you are there, they do not take credit cards. We were able to get cash out of the ATM at the bank. They provide a small continental breakfast every morning (coffee, juice, cereal, milk, fruit, toast) The staff were all very nice and helpful.

We had a two bedroom apartment although we only used the one room. it was on the ground floor and was a little dark due to the overhang from the palapa roof above so we had to keep the lights on when we were in which is a bit strange during the day, although the overhang does mean the apartments stayed nice and cool all day. The company who rent the apartments was very helpful and came with us so we could find everything the first night as we arrived in the dark, they were very helpful, even when we broke the key, sending someone out right away to fix it. The apartments are a little way from the town, but its a nice enough walk along the sand roads into town and only 50 pesos for a golf-cart taxi back at the end of the evening.They are on the quieter side of the island, away from the main hotel zone, we hadn't stayed in this area before but now we think we definitely prefer the tranquillity of it. It is only one block to a beautiful beach too.

The top unit was great for us - panoramic view all over the island, easy access to roof deck area, tons of afternoon breeze, We also arranged airport pickup and transit to the place through them. Easy! There is a palapa on the beach belonging to them 5-7 minute down the road, essential for being able to enjoy the beach in the intense sun. Beach is fairly shallow. There is a beautiful, laid back breakfast/lunch place right on the way called Casa Del Mar. There is also a nice swimming pool on the property that was never crowded. Everything was well maintained, comfortable and pretty! It's about 10-15 easy minute walk into the center of town, super fun with bikes.

There were no wardrobes or anywhere to hang clothes & we couldn’t find an iron. A little further away from the town then we expected. It usually wouldn’t be a problem but we found it hard getting around because of the torrential rain we experienced during our stay. We had a lovely stay all the same

The cleanliness of the grounds , the proximity to the beach was perfect. They had a full equipped kitchen along with some drinking water available for us.

The place was ok, close to the beach, clean, and comfortable, but it is aways from town so you need to take a taxi to come and go into town which is where everything is.

Pros--Property is well priced. Location is about three walkable blocks to the beach. Fantastic A/C and excellent pool. Fairly large with great kitchen. Cons--They did NOT send email reminder to pay them 50% down 45 days in advance like they said they would. The 50% down is ONLY allowed by wiring funds to a Florida bank. My bank charged thirty dollars to send them one hundred fourteen! At the office they DIDN'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS as advertised--cash only. As we had booked shuttle/ferry/taxi through them it was a huge hit requiring us to pay VERY high ATM fees. Very hard to find loc to get keys (straight shot from dock less than a mile on the left) and we had to phone to get a person (dial # EXACTLY as listed on the door, i.e. DONT add 0 or 1's). NOTE: office is actually "Holbox Rents" and takes care of multiple properties. Lots of bugs flew/crawled in under huge space under the door to outside. Stuff a towel in the gap! TIP--book a bio-luminescent excursion immediately after getting off the ferry at the end of pier. This is an AMAZING experience!! Only twenty dollars a person for the five of us as opposed to a lot more in advance. Can also get whale and flamingo excursions for a great price. And DONT ride on the top of the ferry out to the island unless ocean is flat. You will get soaking wet with stinging salt water! Take lots of bug spray. Golf cart taxis only charge three or four dollars per trip (not per person) for anywhere on the island.
