It was a wonderfull experience, but the staff treat clearly prefer the rich ones. Also, they don't have space to park all cars on the parkinglot. It's terrible see your car on the street.

Despite its proximity to good restaurants and bars, the hotel itself doesn't have all the appeal expected from the well-known brand Golden Tulip. Room is small. The floor is covered by an old but clean carpet. The a/c on the wall gives you a glimpse of the 80's, when that noisy squared machine impaired you from a proper sleep night. Althoug, the staff is really professional, helpful and courteous. It's only ok, if intends to stay for 1/2 days. No more than that.

Checking- in without showing the checked room. Have to go to find it alone. Breakfast : extensive, but no butter or margarine! Meal-parts without English names, only Portuguese names. Breakfast-Staff without English knowledge, but do their best, are polite, careful and attentive.

This hotel is really nice. In particular, the staff are really helpful and know lots about the local area. Food here is good - plenty of it and always a veggie option. The double rooms are really nice, all with kitchens and very plush. The single rooms are not so nice - a bit outdated but perfectly functional.

Goinania isn't really a tourist area but this hotel was close to what I needed to do. It was close to some things to do. I was there for visiting and was close for that. The morning breakfast is very good and I ate one dinner in the restaurant that was good also. The room was comfortable and very large. No carpets on the floor in the room which I prefer because then you KNOW the floors are clean!! I had a two-room suite with a sitting room that had a couch, table and chairs, etc so it would have been perfect for a traveler who needed to meet someone for business purposes and there was a door that could be closed to cordon off the bedroom area.

The shower was great! Very strong! The wifi was really bad! The restaurant downstairs is a bit misleading. The food you receive is not actually what is described on the menu. Quality is not dreadful but it is not fair to get ingredients you were not expecting on your food.

My room was located at the back of the building where I had a horrible view of the parking lot and the construction site next door... However the worst thing was that this room is located in a total dead-spot for Cellular phone signals and the Wi-Fi signal was equally bad.. My request to change to another room was not well received and they only offered me another room one floor higher but still in the back of the hotel building. I had to go out to the street every time I needed to use my cell phone. This hotel is crying for renovation, Front desk staff was friendly but not willing to take my complaints about Internet access serious.
