Ashnil has great facilities, delicious food, and VERY comfy accommodations. Their staff is very attentive and take great care of you. One of the aspects that I feel are especially important is the location of the camp. It is situated on the banks of the Mara River and right in the middle of the Masai Mara Reserve. Some of the other "camps" are located closer to the entrances and therefore a longer drive to be in the heart of game drive country is necessary. This is my second time to stay here. I highly recommend it.

Went for a 50th birthday as they had never been on a safari before. Could not fault anything. Seen many, many animals except a Leopard or Rhino. However there was a Rhino at the airstrip which finished the trip off nicely.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and wonderful! Not only were we there on our honeymoon, but we also had a group of 10 in our party. Ashnil Mara Tented Camp is one of the best places we were at during our trip to Kenya. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
