Very nice clean place. Too much noise from the trains going by almost every hour at night...very difficult to sleep at night if you are a light sleeper...

New modern motel in Revelstoke. There was no signage for the front desk...had to wait til another guest to arrive to follow him into a bar lounge and a lady a host kiosk. I had downloaded their app, but didnt receive any email with code. So she had to manually check me in and walk me to the door to code me in. There is only a key code; no room card. This is more like a motel, you park in front of your room and walk in... No lobby or security. There was no closet, just a clothes rack next to sink. No desk/chair. Sit on your bed and use lap tray. Plenty of hooks/buttons to hang your clothes and jacket. The big issue to be aware of was trafffic and train noise.

Very clean , helpful start. To bad about the hot tub

The window covering is see through anyone can see in. They also let in all the light from outside. There was only 1 washcloth. When you shower a lot of water goes out onto the floor. Dont get me wrong place looks great. But more thought should be put into a few of these things.

good place to spend night. Rooms are bit smaller than expected.

Clean new property. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was really noisy during the night. You can hear everything that happens in the hallway (if your room is inside the building). We could hear kids running above us and screaming in the hall.

Clean and modern

Easy contactless check in. Sorted out any issues I had immediately. Close to town and a couple of good restaurants.

We stayed just a week after the hotel opened so not all the facilities were operational. The room was modern and comfortable but there was no place to put toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast room is not welcoming, as it is decorated with cinderblocks. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice facility, good price, and dog-friendly too! What more could one ask?

Room was clean and self-check in was great. Expresso maker in room and fridge were appreciated.

Very small but family friendly value. The rooms were clean and renovated. We thought the owners did a very good job on restoring this property. 👍

The Design

It is a brand new property near the railway tracks and we did not even hear the trains at night. The bed and shower were excellent. It opened up a couple of days before we arrived so a few bugs to work out but handled just fine. Was not there long enough to use all amenities... too bad. The lighting is pretty strong in the room but use the 2 lamps and bathroom light and it's just right. Fridge does not have a freezer section to refreeze icepacks.

Overall good. Like the renovations. Some issues with the new door lock system but I think it is just new. Clean. Convenient location.

The room was so much smaller than expected. No bath only shower. The shower design is terrible (the controls are so deep, you have to get wet as soon as you turn it on) (open concept means the bathroom pools water). The condition of the workmanship in the bathroom is terrible (the calking is sloppy and even missing in some areas)(a discarded tile was used under the sink [has a large x scratched in the surface for removal]). The bathroom fan doesn't work. The hot tub in the amenities isn't operational. Also, the hotel name VRGE isn't anywhere on the building (inside or out), so you have to go to the "LUFT" entrance.

We loved our stay! Clean, convenient and all the amenities you need!

The building is new, I believe the first week of operations, so they were working out some kinks, but overall worth the value.

We will definitely come back.

The staff helped me check in and took me right to my door. I couldn’t find the email with my door code , so the girl was so accommodating to change it to one I chose . I was disappointed that I couldn’t get a breakfast there early as I wanted to be on the road and was told it would be 7:30-8 before it could be ready. All in all I would stay there again. The hot tub also was not ready yet being only open a week. It is a neat place. I’m glad I got to try it. Nice bed and safe parking.

Although the staff were trying to hold it together, this facility is not ready to welcome customers. The front of the building had loud construction equipment operating but we were assured it "it would not last all night." The hot tub was closed and the shower in the first room assigned to us did not work. Perhaps when finished this will be a quality experience for guests.

The shower needs to have a door the water was getting everywhere and heat was escaping. The bathroom needs to have shelves for your things. The bed was very comfy and clean, so nice to have a nespresso in the room

The self check in had glitches, as the hotel had just opened, so was unable to access our room without help from staff, so that was a bit frustrating. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very well put together and clean. The half wall shower mad it impossible to keep the bathroom floor dry. Overall a great hotel that i woukd recommend to others.

It is a very nice place! Easy check in and lots of great facilities (a BBQ, fire pit, ski storage etc.). The one minus point is the fact that staff is hard to find since it is a self check in, but this was no issue for us.

Property is overall ok but their online app to check in and get code for the door is painful. Took us 20 mins to figure out how to get the door to open with no one at facility to help out. I’m not a fan of having to submit my drivers licence and take a picture of myself and submit on their app but had no choice when we got there.
