Nestled within the rural village of Upton St. Leonards, a beautifully renovated old Cotswold stone apple barn. The village itself is in an ideal location, with Painswick Beacon (2.5 miles), Painswick Rococo Gardens (3.0 miles), and Kites Hill Natural Trail (1.0 miles). Further afield, the famous Cheltenham Racecourse (8.0 miles), Gloucester Quays (3.0 miles), and the likes of Painswick, Nailsworth, Cirencester, and Tetbury are all within 15 miles. Bond End Farm Cottage sits within an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens belonging to the adjacent Bond End Farm, a Grade II-listed 400-year-old timber frame house where it's rumoured Henry VIII once stayed.
The property has been lovingly restored, retaining many original features, from an abandoned barn to provide a delightful one-king-sized bedroom holiday cottage fitted and furnished to a luxury standard. It is a wonderful space created with the ethos of providing a place for rest, restoration, adventure, fun and games, good conversation, creative inspiration, and simply enjoying your companion’s company. It combines old-character features with modern conveniences such as full central heating, a lovely roll-top bath, a separate shower, a wood burner, and a and a fully equipped kitchen.
The acre of garden can be enjoyed year-round, bursting with a large variety of plants and birdlife, often visited by deer, pheasants, and rabbits. Enjoy the welcoming of spring with an array of the colour; the fragrance of scented roses in the summer; the romantic sunsets in the autumn; the cosy fit pit in winter. This beautiful cottage will make for a wonderful stay any time of year.
