This family owned cabin has a mesmerizing view of the mountains and valleys surrounding Lake Blue Ridge. We’re centrally located 5 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge, Lake Blue Ridge, and the Aska Trail System. At 2000 sq. ft., it's spacious for two, made for families, and a great time for up to 6 adults. Pets welcome! This cabin has been our family’s gateway to the mountains and favorite place to unwind for over 30 years. We hope you’ll feel at home here building your own Blue Ridge Traditions.

The View
Blue Ridge has come a long way since 1985 when Dad first staked our land in Tanglewood Forest.

Having first pick on the mountain has its advantages. Maybe we’re biased, but we’ve yet to see a better view!

You’ll fall in love with the wide panoramic view overlooking the mountains and valleys with patches of Lake Blue Ridge throughout.

The cabin was built to show off the view from the entire main floor with windows all along the east wall, and with 50’ of eastern facing porch and large open air deck.

The sunrises are unforgettable. You’ll want to wake up early each day to see what new masterpiece awaits. Even the late sleeper will find it worthwhile to grab a pillow and blanket and stumble their way to the couch to enjoy a stunning sunrise through the large picture window.

It never gets old and you’ll want to come back season after season to see it change.

SPACE
The home features three bedrooms with queen bedroom located on the main floor and two queen bedrooms on the lower level. Each floor has a full size bathroom including a tub/shower combo.

The living room, dining room and kitchen are on the main floor with access to the loft just inside the entrance to the home.

The game room is located in the lower level featuring a pool table, darts and seating area to watch the fun!

The full size washer/dryer are also located on the lower level.

House Rules
The wood burning stove is not for guest use. We know it’s tempting, but please respect this. The cabin now has central heat and guests are welcome to use the fire pit outside.

We keep a face of firewood for personal use at the cabin. We’re happy to share with our guests for use in the outdoor fire pit. If you use a lot, please replace. Feel free to collect “dead and down” wood from around the property.

Furniture
Master bedroom furniture set is 3rd generation antique, please treat with care and use coasters ;)

Please utilize the outdoor furniture provided for outdoor use. Do not move indoor furniture outside.

Don’t move any large furniture pieces around in the cabin, it will scratch the wood floors.

Pool Table - Olhausen is a top of the line pool table. Please do not place objects on the table. Keep covered when not in use. In case of accident, please refer to guest book for proper care.

The musical instruments are for all to enjoy. Nothing would make us happier to know we helped spark a passion for music in a young one. These are not irreplaceable, but they are quality instruments. Please supervise children while in use and treat with care.

Privacy:
Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owner's privacy and comply with private property signs.

Pets:
All pets must be kept on a leash when outside. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members.

Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on Thursday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the three trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen guests.

This property is NO SMOKING indoors - outdoor smoking is permitted (please pickup all butts)
