Very nice hotel, lots of grand touches, but frayed around the edges. Restaurant has delicious local dishes as well as more general fare. Room is huge with large patio outside. Service is excellent.

If you are in Xiamen for an exhibition this is a convenient place, it is on the same grounds as exhibition center so you can easily walk to get there. The hotel is according to chinese standards, but it is ok for a short trip of 2-3 days.

Pros:seaside front location;big size room with balcony;free bus to town centre at two times a day.
Cons:dicrimination towards Chinese citizen in refusing exchanging foreign currency; room condition dated; noisy neighbour screaming baby during midnight without anyone helping; there is a swimming pool but unfortunately in another hotel of the group where you need to take shuttle bus;anyway would not stay again.
