We really enjoyed our stay at owls hoot. It felt so homely and we felt completely relaxed over the few days we stayed. We had masseuse come to the property and gave us both hot stone massages. We had the log burner on aswell so it was really cosy. Thank you for such an amazing stay! We can’t wait to book again.

Owls Hoot was extremely comfortable and was a lovely base for a chilled weekend away, the hot tub was fantastic! The owners were very informative and helpful on the lead up to our stay and the addition of a ‘happy birthday’ banner that was put up was a lovely thoughtful touch! Would highly recommend!

It really shows when the host knows what they are doing and really cares about providing the best experience for their guests. The information provided when we booked was welcoming and detailed, and it's always nice as a guest to have a house manual you can refer to if needed. It's also the little touches that make you feel welcome - the welcome package of essentials (yes, Prosecco is an essential), the way the property is presented - which all helps with the experience, especially on a short stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a break in this beautiful part of the country.

An ideal place to get away from it all and de-stress. The hot tub was fantastic and really enjoyed a visit to the four horseshoes for lunch.

The most beautiful property. Well maintained. Hot tub and sauna both lovely. Wood burning stove with plenty of wood provided. Everything was great. Garden was beautiful. We will definitely stay again. Owners were efficient and understanding considering the difficulties of covid.

John was a great host, responsive and informative. The property was perfect for a weekend away, within driving distance of some lovely parts of Suffolk countryside and coast. We would love to come back to explore some more, the barn is perfect for relaxing after a day out!

The cottage was beautifully clean when we arrived and the owners had put up a banner of congratulations on our wedding as we had chosen to stay here for a little mini moon. It was exactly what we needed and we enjoyed walking to the local pub for dinner and drinks.

Beautiful place to stay for a few days. Cottage was very clean throughout. Lovely little garden, ideal for small dogs. Fire was already set up! Hot tub was fantastic. Especially in the evening looking at the stars. Points to improve on ( nothing major) Front door keys are a little stiff. Bifolds need readjusting. Could’ve done with slightly more cutlery. Bathroom could do with more than one loo roll! Other than that, perfect. Would highly recommend and would certainly come back! Hoot hoot!

My wife and I spent a week over the Christmas period. Nicely furnished cottage with a cosy wood burner and a private hot tub. Located within a lovely village and gives you a real feel of escapism. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

A secluded and quiet property - nicely furnished, well equipped and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. The hot tub is fabulous! Great for exploring the local countryside and some great gastro pubs. Ideal for romantic getaways.

Such a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get away from it all. Everything was spotless and so many little touches the heating was even on for our arrival. Cannot pick a fault and will be returning. Thank you for having us.

we stayed at the owl hoot barn for my husbands 40th as a surprise for him and we had such a brilliant time we are planning on come back next year. John and Katie have been wonderful with any queries I had. on arrival their was a welcome basket and the hot tube was hot and ready to hop in. thank you so much for a dream get away

I really liked the stove and the jacuzzi and the location was nice and really quiet. The smart tv with Netflix and Amazon is great. What I felt let the place down is the bed. The mattress/bed needs replacing in my opinion, sagging in the middle and the sheets don’t really stay on with the topper. The pillows and duvet feel cheap and not in keeping with the rest of the property and the price of staying there.

From the day I booked to the day we returned we have had nothing but a positive experience with Owl's Hoot. John and Katie have been nothing but accommodating from the booking experience, answering questions, to then of course actually arriving at Owl's Hoot and seeing what a wonderful getaway this really is! This place is perfect for a romantic weekend away with your loved one to just chill. It is surrounded by lush countryside and we very much appreciated the discount at the nearby White Horse Inn pub (fantastic food and service)! We will not hesitate to recommend Owl's Hoot to anyone and will definitely be looking to return at some stage. My partner very much enjoyed the hot tub (I am pregnant so couldn't enjoy it :() but he was very pleased nonetheless. Only slight negative thing was the Wi-Fi was almost non existent and you have no mobile phone service.... this proved to be okay for us in the end as we actually enjoyed spending time together instead of being glued to our phones! Owl's hoot is an amazing place to stay if you want peace and quiet. It is very clean, comfortable and private. The converted barn is to a high standard and the outside garden and hot tub is such a massive bonus. So relaxing sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine looking at the stars. Amazing! John and Kate were excellent and very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. They went the extra mile and made my husbands suprise trip for his birthday a very special one. I would highly recommend xx

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at the Owls Hoot luxury barn. It was the most perfect romantic getaway with them little extras to make it a time to remember. 100% recommend

We had a peaceful, romantic stay at the Owl's Hoot for our 1st wedding anniversary. The setting was very tranquil and the accommodation was exceptionally clean on arrival. The little bottles of Prosecco provided were a nice touch. You had everything you needed in the kitchen and so we did stay in and cook a couple of nights. The hot tub had sold this property to me and it was so worth it! Such a lovely way to relax in the evenings. The pizza oven is brand new and again a lovely added extra. The wifi worked intermittently, but if you want to totally switch off then it's ideal. John and Katie communicated lots of information and were prompt with every inquiry. Great owners. We would certainly stay here again if we wanted a little getaway!

We loved our stay at Owls Hoot for our minimoon. We spent a couple of days there and found it to be very modern, clean and comfortable with all the essentials. It was lovely and spacious and we made use of the pretty terrace and private hot tub on a sunny afternoon. Lots of lovely walks nearby, and we enjoyed trips to Eye and Diss which were both very lovely and not too far. The pub down the road is really good with a decent range of food and we picked up some fresh eggs there too. Overall a great stay and we would highly recommend if you’re looking for a lovely peaceful base to explore the area. John was brilliant and supplied us with lots of info and recommendations prior to our stay. Thank you!

Had a perfect weekend for my girlfriends birthday away. Such a lovely place with an amazing hot tub. John and Katie were very helpful and were kind enough to put some birthday banners and throw in complimentary prosecco. Would highly recommend for couples who are looking for a short break away. I am going to be completely honest with you, I always worry about going away and staying in a house/barn/lodge. But WOW... Owls Hoot is fabulous. Every single room is spotless, with helpful information including discount cards for restaurants and half a day spa for free. I honestly could not fault one thing in the barn and the hot tub is a massive bonus John & Kate you should be very proud of how fantastic you hosted us and the welcome basket was fab! Thank you both so so so much for our great birthday weekend away... we will 100% be recommending you to friends/family and we will be returning this year!
