we loved our stay. the hotel is right on the beach with clean and nicely decorated family rooms, delicious breakfast with lots of varities, very helpful staff, clean and nice pool. highly recommended

Excellent breakfast/ dinner. Every single person from the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The service made our experience so much better and great location.

Location was great!

For the amount charged, the quality of services was not at all up to the mark. For instance, the pool water was not clean and the breakfast buffet was the worst I have ever had. From the presentation to the variety to the quality of breakfast, it really was below average bordering bad.

Close to the beach

Bed sheets and towels were dirty(with dirty spots, steps of foot and etc) and they’ve changed it 7 times! Also they didn’t understand that it’s not normal, cause hotel manager said that’s it’s ok:) So I wasted an hour talking to them and checking bed sheets which they’ve brought to me. They even haven’t been interested in this process. The staff on the beach (there they give breakfast) almost shout on you because of sand on your foot))) it’s only one hotel from my whole 2 weeks stay in Shri lanka where I faced such kind of experience. Definitely not recommend cause this kind of service should cost 50$ but not 150$

We were a family of 4 who stayed at the resort’s Villa for 4 nights. The villas are charming and spacious for 4. It has a double bed and an additional solo bed next to the entrance. Loved the feel of the villa, very charming, and lots of real wood. The sit out space is ideal for relaxing as well. Lovely place to stay for a few days with the kids or with a group of friends. Its also located right on the beach and in the most happening and central part of Weligama, also right next to the Mariott (they share a wall). Some nice restaurants are around the resort and Tuktuks stand out in front in case you need to go anywhere. There’s a single restaurant that serves multi cuisine food. Service is Sri Lanka style, relaxed, but you’ll get what you want. When in Sri Lanka do try their fruits and fruit platters. We loved the Pineapples the best followed by the Watermelon, Coconuts and Mango. The staff is polite, and our kids had a great time playing darts with the lifeguard everyday. My rating shows 8, but I would give it a 8.3-8.5. Would we stay here again??……… Yes.

The pool is adequate but ordinary. Nice for relaxing though. The taste of the food at the restaurant was average, however the breakfast is adequate. All villas are not the same quality. Amenities/quality of amenities in one villa may be different from another. For eg we first got a villa and the older AC broke down. The staff instantly changed our villa to another and we noticed that almost everything in the new villa was mostly better/newer. Toilets are clean but could be made cleaner. Please Note: there’s no deal breaker here. Its a really lovely place to stay. Tip: Try to get the Villas in the row away from the row next to the Mariott. Also carry a 2-pin (round) travel adapter.

perfect place!! we booked five nights but it was so good that we stayed more! the service is extraordinary!! they helped us in everything, from stomach pain to recommendations for good restaurants!! will come back for sure!

The location was awesome, right next to the beach. Restaurant is located at the edge of the beach and its a very relaxing experience, the food was really nice and valueformoney. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Really lovely small hotel with friendly feel. Surfing instructor was great! And the location is perfect for surfing. Rooms were gorgeous and clean.

The breakfast has huge room for improvement. The cereals were poor quality. And the coffee wasn’t great either.

The facilities are very very tired(( The sink was broken, we had water all over the bathroom. There was a hole in the ceiling and all the time water came down from it. The food in the restaurant was not tasty at all. We came on NY eve, the manager tried to include the NY dinner (despite the fact, that we were not warned in advance, had no info on booking and didn’t plan to stay in the hotel for that dinner). We needed 40 min to solve that problem…
