Ngoondie Studio was an outstanding property and one of our favourite ever stays. The studio is set in a secluded tranquil and leafy garden with only a short 20 minute walk into town. The array of food provided by Madeline was beyond generous. Fantastic supply of cereals, fruits, eggs, bacon, yogurts, cheese, juice, milk, biscuits, bread, chocolate, tea and coffee. Hosts are very responsive on email and we highly recommend this property.

The location is a very short drive to the township of Healesville providing easy access to a range of meals and tourist options. The location is fantastic with a great view from the loungeroom, bedroom and verandah. Access would be difficult for those with a disability as there are stairs at the front. The hosts were great with communication and providing a very clean, modern and relaxing cottage. Would certainly visit again.

The only minor thing, and it is a personal choice, is we found the bed a little hard.

this was the perfect getaway. The place was immaculate and perfect for a weekend away. the added touches of bread and treats in the fridge was the cherry on top. loved the heat pads on the bed and the fire place great location 👍🏼

A well equipped beautiful cozy studio with plenty of food, beverages and home essentials provided by the generous host Madeline - made me felt like a home away from home. It has a beautiful garden with grapefruit trees, lemon trees and mandarins as well as an array of beautiful plants & flowers which can be plucked by occupants. The proximity of the studio is very close to its town (est. 1km) which has everything you need - COLES supermarket, cafes, bakeries, butcheries, petrol kiosk, etc.

Very quiet. Heating was good. Breakfast provisions were fantastic.

TV sound was poor, very tinny sounding.

Chris and Madeline are absolutely amazing people - friendly and quick to respond on chat. Honestly, the pics on Booking.com don't do justice to how beautiful this place really is. It's a little piece of paradise in the middle of the hills. Stunning views from the cozy living room, the wonderful garden, the decor, the absolutely generous breakfast and snacks provided - all of it made it an exceptional stay. If I were to visit Yarra Valley again, I will probably first check if Nagoondie Studio is available, and only then actually plan the trip.

As with some of the others, I wish the mattress was a little more firm, and the blankets a little more firm too - there were so many layers and it didn't hold together very well. But more importantly, while I loved the place so much, just a small little note to the hosts - would be good to have a deep clean of some of the nooks and crannies. I spotted quite a lot of dead bugs, flies and cobwebs around the curtains, blinds, corners of walls, shelves, ceilings etc. It didn't really affect me much honestly, but that little attention to detail would take this place from a 9.5 to a 10 :) PS : You guys should consider re-taking some pics of the place maybe - your lovely home is 10x better in person than in the pics on booking.com :)

Accomodation included a generous breakfast, also extra treats as in fresh fruit, chocolate and cheese and biscuits was a nice suprise. The studio was spotlessly clean and the location was great, very private and quiet and close to town.

Sound quality on the TV is poor

Heating was great in the winter weather. Breakfast was a beautiful touch and host was super accommodating. The location is so quiet and private. The view into the garden and watching the birds was very peaceful.

A true b&b in every sense. Private, secluded, warm and cosy. Wonderful breakfast selection to charge up for the day ahead. Thankyou we had a great visit and highly recommend.

Due to the location of being higher up, you will hear neighbouring sounds whenever they are making louder noises eg lots of mowing, music. That said this is not the fault of the hosts and you won't hear it much when you're within the house.
