Clean So So getting old

The view is great, peaceful environment within the resort, great service.

Sometimes I don’t like the fact there are flies in your room….

It was a beautiful area and the staff were generally friendly.

They required a deposit of more than 100% of the total fee when we checked in totaling thousands of dollars. If we wanted to charge to the room we needed to add more to the deposit. This should be explained before we booked the rooms. Also, the wing of the resort where we stayed was not properly air-conditioned so it suffered from serious mildew due to the high humidity. The rooms and the hallways were lined with dehumidifiers. The humidity in the room was so bad that I had to change the water tanks on the dehumidifier in my room in the morning and when I returned in the evening. The room itself suffered from a musty odor that was likely also a health concern. We chose to leave two days early and booked a more reasonably priced hotel. Upon checkout they attempted to let us leave without canceling the deposit, charging us for our stay or even giving me a receipt for the stay. We had to push them to properly check us out of our rooms!

Clean. Comfortable. Amazing lake view. Excellent restaurants within the hotel. Very friendly staff. Good value. I was on a buisness trip so didn't have the time to enjoy everything the hotal has to offer. Would be nice come back there for a vacation.

No shops/restaurants near the hotel. Nearest is about 3km from the hotel. Hotel can arrange car but Hard to find a taxi go back to hotel. Most of staff has poor English. Difficult to communicate.
