Santa Ynez is excellent for a family group - loads of bedrooms, two separate common areas, a great (fenced in) pool and an easy location to get to Marbella or to Malaga Airport (30 mins). Yes, there is a little road noise, but its not intrusive. The property is really well equipped and the manager very responsive and helpful.

it was a lovely spacious house with a great location and the local beach within walking distance with the beach bar was a daily visit. there are no bathplugs at all so not baths available even though there are baths on the property. the main bedroom air conditioner leaked and the top bedroom aircon didn't work at all. we did not have any help regards our requests from the property managers? for boat hire and plugs and the blender did not work. so no cocktails could be made. small issues but overall a fab property.

Huset är väldigt fint och lyxigt. Här finns allt man behöver. Både för fest och vardag. Selene (värden) hjälpte oss snabbt när vi behövde hjälp. Huset låg lite utanför. 15 minuters gång till stor mataffär. Taxi (6 euro) till större by La Cala de Mijas, där det finns flera restauranger. Något negativt att det ligger vid en stor väg. Men man vande sig med med ljudet från vägen och märkte inte det efter ett tag. Mycket mygg på kvällarna. Ananrs mycket bra. Rekommenderar.

The villa was absolutely amazing, there was plenty to keep us entertained the only negative is that we didn’t stay longer

Whirlpool, einige Fernseher und Küchengeräte haben nicht funktioniert. Ansonsten super schön mit großartigem Pool.

Spacious. Near the beach and beach bar. Pool & Hot Tub were enjoyed by all, especially the 4 & 7 year olds. The whole villa and grounds were spotless when we arrived. Road noisewas there but did not in anyway interfere with our holiday. Selens was very helpful. Great holiday Thank you

We enjoyed an amazing family holiday at casa Santa ynez for 13 of us. The whole villa is beautiful, with enough space for everyone with plenty of space to spare. Would definitely recommend it

Super villa, lived up to all expectations, so much space for 14 of us, lovely pool and gardens. Selene very helpful, lovely to have our shopping there when we arrived. All in all a great week with family.

From arrival to departure Santa Ynez had everything we could have wished for. Selene greeted us on arrival and was helpful throughout our stay. Elle arranged our welcome shop which was unpacked before our arrival. As a family of 8 adults and 5 children. The villa, pool and hot tub fulfilled all our needs. Our 6 month baby was provided with everything from cot, steriliser, baby monitor right down to little swimmers!! The villa is in a beautiful location so close to the beach and lovely town of La Cala which we visited each day. We will definitely be returning. Perfect for a family holiday

The first impression on the pictures of the website and the you tube film gave us an idea of the house. When we arrived our impression became reality. It was a very good holiday, and the service is very good. Renny and his team helps us when there were minor things. I would recommend it to everyone.

This property is lovely however I am amazed no one has mentioned the road noise - we didn't realise it would be so close to the main coast road which is busy 24-7 and very noisy. The villa had had some issues the week before we stayed where the grass had beed dug up and we had gardeners coming in to fix it - the work had also meant that the glass around the pool was quite dirty which was a shame. The villa has 10 televisions and only one of them work - not great when you are travelling with grown up children when they want to have time on their own relaxing. Other than these few issues the villa is lovely and provides a great space for 2 families to share without feeling on top of each other. Groceries and wine were provided when we arrived which was lovely so we didn't have to shop on our first day - this was such a lovely touch and we were so grateful. If this villa could be picked up and moved away from the busy noisy road we would definitely go back

Renny was a brilliant host, if you needed anything, a car, goods, your shopping picked up prior or a maid for a few days he can sort it out for you. We had the chef Justin come in one evening and cooked a BBQ for us all and our guests (20 in total) he brought in everything and the place was spotless when he left and I must say that it was one of the best BBQ meals I have ever had with an abundance of food being cooked over a long period of time, we were probably eating for three hours.A recommended eating establishment is the Restaurant Valparaiso on the Mijas road, spend a couple of hours in Mijas and on the way back you can call into this restaurant, book beforehand and make sure you pick a night when they have one of their floor shows on, the host and food is fantastic and the place is well worth a visit.Away from our local beach bar and only 1km away is the Restaurant Sheriff, lovely location where the children can play on the beach whilst the adults enjoy a glass of wine and some paella.Another quality place in a quality location that gave us all a quality holiday.

We were a group of 17 parents with teenagers for my sons 18th birthday, at rennys suggestion we had caters in who were excellent , brought everything with them hour before cooked and set up providing wine and punch for our 3 course meal which was superb wish we d used them more through our stay. Would def recommend . We were also v lucky to be provided with 2 v friendly lovely staff coming in every morning brought in fresh juice ,rolls fruit cereal scrummy pastries etc everything u could want and more making fresh toast whenever someone came down for breakfast . They then cleaned the whole villa making beds etc it was hotel extras in self catering what more could u ask for We were trialling this facility and we would def pay extra for this facility if offered. I emailed renny with our shopping list before arriving which was big help everything there and chilling on our arrival . Renny was massive help , there whenever we needed to provide/ advise - thank u so much . We had amazing hol in a spectacular villa .

Had a lovely hot sunny week in the villa in August, we were a party of 15 aged from 8 to 85, plenty of space for everyone, excellent ground floor bedroom with walk in shower and shower seat for the less mobile. Kids all loved the pool, jacuzzi and the pool table, bar area was a hit on an evening with the adults as it leads onto a lovely terraced area with comfortable seating. Villa was a little further than we thought from la cala mijas but only 8 euro in a taxi, nice little beach bar within 5 mins walk. Had chef one night to cook in villa which was really good value could not fault it. Selene looked after us very well and was most helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend santa ynez.

myself and fifteen members of my family (age range 3 to 71) had a fantastic week at Casa Santa Ynez,The property was immaculate and was exactly as described,the facilities were excellent and the rooms were spacious. The location was just right and five minutes from the beach ,which was ideal with the children.Rennie and his team couldn't have been better and were at hand whenever we needed them. I would certainly recommend Santa Ynez and I hope to return again with my family.

It was everything it said it was, would go back in a heart beat. The villa was superb, big, clean, beautiful, totally relaxing, everything you need & great for the kids with the pool. Renny was there to meet us, he gave us lots of helpful information about the local area, & was easy contactable if we needed him. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

This amazing villa in a beautiful setting was perfect for our whole family. Right by the beach and only a short walk to the local centre, where the local people are lovely and very helpful. The pool was safe for the little ones and big enough for us adults too. The villa itself was just right with enough space for us all to be together or when in need of an hours reading/relaxing there was always a quiet spot to be found. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need and more. Renny, the owner of the villa, was very helpful and there whenever we needed anything. We arranged a chef to come to the villa twice during our stay which was fantastic. Go karting and a waterpark was also a short distance away and a very enjoyable day out. There was 13 family members on our holiday and local taxi firms were fantastic in taking us all wherever we wanted to go, with us all arriving at the same time. It was a very stress free holiday and the whole family would love to return.

Casa Santa Ynez is by far the best villa I have ever stayed in, every detail has been thought through making our stay wonderfully comfortable. We loved the pool, particularly as it had safety glass surrounding it giving us peace of mind when the kids are running about. The garden is large with amazing views and the location just couldn't be better with the fabulous beach and bar a couple of minutes walk. With 18 of us there we never felt crowded as the place is so vast with so many areas to relax in. We hope to see you again!

From the moment we arrived until the time we left my family and I could not have had a better experience. I have experience and work in the hospitality industry with luxury Hotel Brands including Four Seasons, Fairmont and Dorchester Collection and I have travelled to Marbella for the last 20 years and always stayed at The Marbella Club but wanted to try something different. To me a holiday is all about wonderful experiences and to this end I have to say that we had arranged the holiday through a contact named Renny Brown and from the outset I was made very welcomed and Renny arranged some fantastic excursions for the family and also arranged a private chef for a birthday celebration at the house for 12 people which will be a memory we will always cherish. The house itself was in a fantastic position only seconds from the beach and a 10 minute stroll to the main town. I will certainly be booking future holidays with Renny and I have already recommended his service to friends of mine. A truly wonderful experience Thank you David

Casa Santa Ynez is a stunning luxury property spread over 3 generous floors. The whole villa is beautifully appointed - furnishings are luxurious yet comfortable, layout is spacious and airy, facilities are excellent - overall it is a very well thought out place to spend time. Outside the garden is perfect for an active family with enough lawn area for a kick about and still plenty of space to recline on the many sun loungers that are scattered around the place. The pool is worthy of special mention - we were a party of 11 and it was the perfect size. Plenty big enough for everyone to have fun whilst keeping everyone involved in the games in the same place. The bar area on the middle floor is a great place to spend time and the 7 foot slate bed English pool table got plenty of use during our stay. As advertised the villa is a very short stroll to a lovely quiet beach with great sand-castle sand as well as a few interesting rock pools. There is also a small bar/cafe at the beach for a cold beer or a light snack. I could go on and on about the property itself but it is probably more important to mention Renny and his team that manage the property. My experience with dealing with Renny from first contact to meeting him during our holiday was superb. Nothing is too much trouble. Nothing is left to chance. Renny's mission is to deliver exceptional holiday properties with an exceptional level of service and he delivers on every level. Not only is Renny easy going and easy to get along with, he is attentive, pragmatic, professional and always keen to help. He sets himself and his team high standards and they really care about achieving them. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this villa - for a large group of friends and family it is perfect. I also have only the highest praise for Renny and his team. If we choose a villa holiday in Spain again there is only 1 place I will go to book it and that is with Renny.
