A full breakfast was included with the room. This meant it was far more convenient for the family to eat and get our day started directly from the hotel.

Navigating around the hotel is somewhat like a maze. However we eventually figured out where everything was.

Location is excellent, but the hotel is generally a little tired and in need of some TLC. The room itself was gloomy, with old, stained carpets - albeit the bathroom and beds were clean and acceptable.

The room could do with a lot of updating, new carpets and generally modernising.

I appreciated the laundry arrangement the Ptarmigan had with the Moose next door. We were able to get all of our laundry done, after 4 days of camping, while we were waiting for our room to be ready.

Staff, accommodations, right on the main strip, huge room size for a 2 queen room, free parking. Ski resort bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Narrow hallways inside the hotel. I fond the hotel very maze like. There was a fake eyelash left on a nightstand (thought it was a caterpillar..hahah) Oh and the midnight action next door 🤪. Walls/doors are very thin it seems.

The location is good in for center of the town. Walking distance to a lot of services and facilities.

1. I booked the hotel in December 2022 and also called the staff during that time to ask about the breakfast option since there wasn't any mention of it on the booking site. At that time, the lady who answered the call said that there could be a website glitch, but breakfast was included in my booking. On my check-in day (Feb.18/23) when the receptionist handed my room keys... I clearly remember she said that "see you tomorrow morning during breakfast". And boom! The next morning another receptionist said that we need a breakfast entry card and that no such card is eligible for my booking!!! So I paid literally for the room which was not even worth it. The bathroom door knob was broken and we called the front desk 2-3 times but nothing happened. Also, on one of the beds, the bedsheet was torn. I was there with my friends for just 2 days so wasn't planning on staying in the room all day, so I didn't go to the fron office... just called them from the room and notified them. But when I brought up this issue during the checkout, the same breakfast fuss receptionist said that mentioning it during checkout does not make sense. If I didn't bring it up during my stay, that's my mistake. So no big deal. I mean seriously? So the staff was not at all friendly and helpful.

Location, staff was very helpful, breakfast, housekeeping team made the room perfect every day, and also sunshine village bus at the door every morning.

Good sized room, nice clean bathroom.

Room was initially too hot for me but after a quick play with the thermostat, sorted that all out. Cant really fault anything.
