Hwy 5 closed due to an accident. All rooms were sold out here and in Merritt. The night staff fixed a room with a partially working toilet flapper while we got something to eat to make one more room available. The night staff was better than the day staff. Special thanks to the manager Ting Yi who went way above and beyond.

Location was good and it was quiet

Super disappointed about our stay right from the getgo. Checking in, the receptionist was not overly friendly. After given our room cards we made our way to our room. Upon opening the door, we were both super disappointed. There was an odor to the room, what looked like a toe nail clipping in the bathroom, one towel looked like it had mascara on it, the toilet seat looked like it hadn't been cleaned, just not a great environment. We both had a terrible sleep as the beds are super hard and there was a weird clicking noise that periodically went off throughout the night. We debated contacting the front desk but we were both exhausted and we had a busy day coming up so just wanted to go to bed. We decided to check out the breakfast in the morning, it was also disappointing. No butter or cream cheese for the toast, yogurts were warm, coffee was like water. We then went to check out. The lady at the desk was much nicer but did not ask how our stay was or any feedback. Honestly after spending the amount we did to stay here, I am unbelievably disappointed!

The pool area was very run down and dirty. The hot tub was closed. There was old coffee in our machine, old chocolate milk in the fridge in our room and no butter at breakfast. The towels were ripped and the bathroom was dirty with hairs on the floor. I don't usually give bad reviews but this was an uncomfortable stay.

The pillows were rock-hard. Neither of us slept. None of the phone numbers for booking.com worked--pressing the selection numbers had no effect.

Dust on headboards of bed, hair in bath tub ! More attention to cleaning required. Pool area and hot tub looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a while
