Easy access right on Hwy 7, just a couple kms from downtown Lindsay. The man on Reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The on site restaurant had very good service and the food was good, but some of the menu items were not available. I didn't try the breakfast.

NOTE: I have some mobility challenges so be aware that the rooms closest to Reception and the on site restaurant are not disabled 'friendly'. (the disabled access rooms are at the far end of the hotel from the restaurant but do have a disabled parking spot and entrance at that end, accessible after checking in at Reception). Bathroom in the regular room close to Reception that I requested to minimize the need for a lot of walking or in and out of hotel, is small, no hand grips on tub, and I needed a step stool to get up onto the high bed. The restaurant is a fairly long uphill walk from Reception (no problem for able bodied people but quite a distance for people in a disabled room at the far end), and a section of the hall is VERY dark at night.

It was kept very clean.

The location didn’t have much around for food nor groceries.

The motel needs a makeover after many years of hard service. Chipped cabinets and drywall, tattered and worn carpets, dreary lighting, windows grimly dirty .. the list of deficiencies is long.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time and the staff were very friendly. Room was a great size. Toiletries provided were a nice quality. Location is great and the attached restaurant is excellent.

TV volume could not be reduced low enough and was painfully loud; uncomfortable to watch it at such a high volume. Pillows were plentiful (thank you) but some were over washed and no longer had shape or structure, just pieces of filling inside. Perhaps replace overused pillows more regularly?

The breakfast served moldy english muffins. And not much else to choose from. Cereal and Dads oatmeal cookies. Had egg rounds and sausage rounds. I expected better quality of choices. The coffee was great though. Food was not good. The room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money.
