Nothing to like

The place was filthy, I believe bed bugs were waiting for us at the door. Drunks hanging out front like a bad smell. I also believe the photos of the place are fake...looked nothing like them. We were turned away because we had a dog after I booked thinking it was a pet friendly motel because that is what I searched for. Will not ever be using booking.com again. Lost my money for the one night I booked and then had to fork out more for the motel I actually stayed in which was very posh AND DOGS WERE ALLOWED!!!

The room itself was pleasant and clean (carpets could probably benefit from a vacuum).

Not sure what this building was before but it was very odd, there is a boarded up pool, a gym, an abandoned restaurant and an operating bar downstairs.

Price was low, but upon arrival could definitely understand why. Wouldn't recommend for children or anyone who doesn't like being confined at night with no way of exiting for any reason.

Being locked inside the hotel all night with no staff present st the hotel. There is literally NO way to leave the building whatsoever between the hours of 2am and 8am. I cannot see how this could be legal. Also there were no light bulbs in the lamp and I didn't notice until staff had left for the night so I probably didn't notice a lot of other things wrong with the room since it was dark the entire time I was there.

Easy check in, hotel is under nconsttuction so take everything with a grain of salt. Apparently it's a pet free hotel but I used the filters before booking. He was very surprised when I walked in with my 2 dogs. Thankfully they allowed them. The beds were very comfortable which makes the stay the best.

I did not really like the parking lot. It was across the street and I had a trailer I was towing. Not much room to turn around and of course some locals decided that sitting on the edge of my trailer rims was a good idea. The water in the bathroom tub didn't drain well but the water pressure made it ok with me.

Room was not cleaned, as in the dirty bathroom, dirty dirty towel, dirty bed. I asked the staff to clean while I was out. I returned late and didn't notice till after 1am (I was studying at the table) that room had still not been cleaned.

Rooms dont have microwaves, some in a common area which is inconvenient.

Nice cool place. The room was great, the corridor leading to the top floor rooms was great and one could chill, read a book/sip some coffee along the corridor. And Milan, was a great guy. Though, their restaurant wasn't in use when we visited but Milan gave us some Tim Hortons gift cards for breakfast. We shall surely be there again.

Didn't find any. Though, it seems some parts are no longer in use or being sparsely used, but that had no bearing on our stay.

Staff was amazing. We were in town for medical reasons and they were very understanding super friendly.

No microwave in the room. Doors locked at 10:00 p.m.
