The location and closeness to nature, the gondola and chair rides, the s’more around the fire in the evening, the staff and their kindness.
Everything is perfect. The only thing is that I wished they had a mini market on site in the evening, for evening snacks or light dinners.

We were super excited to stay there and the day before out departure from Kelowna we had to evacuated as well as our dog sitter.
We called first thing in the morning to explain the situation we were in and asked if it would be ok to bring our dog with us.
We were told that only service dogs are allowed and that they can’t help us.
We lost money, and had to find another place that allows dogs. Which was almost impossible on such a short notice. We understand their rules however the situation we were in was difficult one and it was out of our control.
It would be such a huge help if the staff would be more understanding and offer a solution or make an exception in this situation.

Room beautiful! Location absolutely unique. Access to chairlift, gondola and shuttle service made travelling within and from sunshine village easy.

Excellent location. Really enjoyed the gondola trip up to the lodge, and the chairlift up to sunshine meadows. Facilities were great. Room was spacious and clean. Mad trappers was good fun, and did reasonably priced food and drinks. The staff were all incredible - Keelan the bellhop was particularly helpful and gave us loads of tips for the area.
The 20(ish) minute gondola ride up might be off-putting for some, but we enjoyed it!

Lovely location set in the mountains
Limited variety and pricey food/drink to a captive audience. The prices have increased since our last stay and this was a little disappointing. In addition there are no fridges in rooms for our child’s milk with no option to hire one.

Communal areas like corridors and pool changing rooms weren’t very clean, often used plates/trays/cups left around. Food facilities were over priced for basic meals. Staff were friendly but service quite slow, no one seemed to be in charge.

Very comfortable room with a great view of the snowy trees. Great location, been the only ski-in/out option in Banff. Good sauna and hot pool facilities.
Limited dinning options since your are "stuck" on top of the mountain after 5:00 pm. The ski room could have boot dryers. A few more comunal sitting areas would be a good addition

Incredible location steps from the ski lifts. staff was amazing—all friendly and helpful! we loved it.
The “couch” is not really a couch but more of a banquette, so not good for sleeping. otherwise the room was great.

The rooms are clean and comfy. The hotel has a hot pool - don't forget your swimsuit. It will definitely give you relaxation after a skiing day. If we had a week, probably, we would stay in Banff. But for 2-3 days of vacation, this place is the perfect time saver.
There is no mulled wine :-)

The location is very secure and beautiful. The spa services and hot tub are great, and the staff were great to deal with. I’ve been here in Sumer and in winter now and both experiences have been well worth it, I only have to limit my stays because of the premium price haha.

Wonderful gondola and lift rides. Awesome trails for hiking and camping during summer time. Great hotel room and services, really nice staff. Can’t ask for more.

Very clean, good facilities, good restaurants, obviously gorgeous location.
It’s quite expensive obviously. With food you’ll end up spending almost $1000 a day for a family of four.
