Front desk woman accused me of racism because she was tired! Ruined the night.

After driving over 1100 miles, I needed a good night's sleep. The original room's air conditioner unit was very loud and wasn't mounted to the wall properly. The front desk changed my room to the ground floor. Unfortunately, the latch for the door didn't lock in properly, but I was too tired. I secured the door handle and lock with towels and used my belt to secure the hinge bracket on the door (thank you YouTube videos!) Around 11:30-12:00, I heard someone trying to open my room door! Again, being overtired, I quickly checked my makeshift security and went back to sleep. No more than 30 minutes later, someone was banging on my door! I went to the door and the person in the lobby (assuming it was the overnight manager/staff person) asked who I was. After telling them through the door, I went back to bed. Woke up and immediately went to the front desk. Staying calm, I asked what last night was about, explaining my long travel and my exhaustion. The manager confirmed that they never changed my room in the computer and gave the room to another customer, thinking it was empty. He apologized and reimbursed 50% of my room rate but I doubt I will be staying at that hotel again. Very bad experience.

The staff was friendly and responsive. The location was convenient.

The room was not vacuumed when we entered. The staff quickly came and vacuumed. However, we thought, what else was not cleaned? The bathroom had hair stuck to the ceiling. I had to clean it off because it was disgusting. The room was dark with not enough natural light. Required all lamps to illuminate the room adequately. The hot breakfast was not replenished once eaten. We were in the lobby in the 6am hour and left for McDonalds because there was no hot food left.

I looked very old bed was hard carpet was very dirty. I would not stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful

The shower head in my room was not functioning properly, water was spraying everywhere! I was able to get a shower and I let the desk clerk know at checkout!
