Nice staff, liked the location out of town and secluded breakfast was good. Shared area is really nice kitchen, dining area, library. Hiking trails around the property. Big windows great for watching the northern lights if they're out. Even has a campfire pit outside.

The description was not accurate. In booking.com it stated there was a kitchenette, and it also stated this suite gets you a hot tub. It was a stretch to call that a suite no seating area, no TV no seperate areas, One chair one bed. No coffee maker in the room, The kitchen is in the main building and its shared. Also the hot tub is shared didn't get to use it when we wanted because it was in use. My room was not far from the hot tub so you hear people in it talking that are using it. I paid alot to stay here paid extra for the suite thats not a suite.

Everything was excellent, from prompt communication, well-spoked and friendly host to the scrumptious breakfast with nice coffee. There was a viewing platform for aurora, an outdoors hot tub that can fit 3-4pax comfortably, a roomy unit and a shared spacious common living area (double storey!) with a cozy fireplace (there is one outdoors too! Set up by the staff or host at night). Will come back and stay again if coming back for an aurora viewing and longer stay!

it was a very friendly place. All staff was very respectful and kind (Snuggies the dog was sweet too). The place was very comfy. The breakfast was very good. great place to see the auroras.

The property shows as being 5min from airport if you search in Google. This mislead us and made us pay around 400 in taxi for the 2 days we stayed there. They should fix this as soon as possible, since renting a car with a good anticipation could have saved us some dollars.

The serenity, hot tub and the chef is amazing! Some of the best meals we've had in a while. Bed was v.comfortable as well.

The transportation system to get to the hotel. No regular shuttle provided from downtown, so easier to own/rent a car, as long as you are comfortable with driving in snow/ice.
