The location was a littler far from the main village area. Only there one night so it was all good. There was a little confusion on arrival as we were told we had the front room and keys would be on the table. One other couple checking in at the same time had the same instructions. We eventually found the back unit and all was good.

Wifi was not great but the unit was clean and we enjoyed the back porch and sunshine when we arrived. Pouring rain when we left. A little too far from the village.

It was a comfortable space with everything we needed. Decent location, although not right in the “downtown” core of Rocky Harbour. Lobster point lighthouse is a worthwhile museum to check out as is the short beach hike. Very beautiful with a unique surprise at the end.

There was a damp odour as soon as we walked in. Although there was a dehumidifier running, I wonder if it’s perhaps not emptied often enough.

The pictures make it seem lovely. It is not. The outside was unkept and felt trashy. When we arrived, no one was there we waited 30 minutes and finally tried the door. It was unlocked and keys were on the table. Who does that? It was hot outside. The inside was over 90 degrees, hotter than outdoors. The rooms faced west, so the sun was blaring and baking the rooms. One window could not be opened, because there were no screens. Two of the three windows were "cellar" windows and could not allow air flow. The other barely opened. It was dark and gloomy and baking hot. When the shower would only give cold water, we called and were hung up on. We texted and were basically told too bad. We left you a tiny, disfunctional fan. Ha ha we got you. Do not stay here. Do not believe the reviews.

It was spacious. Quiet area.

The roof leaked (I have pics/video). Although we booked for six people there were only two beds, no pull-out couch or cots. The bathtub had hairs and it was rusty (I have pics). There was no follow-up to the fact we moved the furniture and placed down pots to collect the rainwater.

It was very mouldy. It smelled like mold. Everyone was sneezing from the mould.
