Beautiful facility

Very noisy late into the night. Traffic and music kept us up

The lobby reeked of urine.

Location was great. We were able to walk to everything.

Bed was not comfortable. Mattress was very uncomfortable but room was very nice.

The room(s) smelled moldy. I have allergies to mold and I have asthma. The stay was miserable. They allowed me to switch rooms on the second day but the new room was the same. The bedding was very damp. A dog in the room across the hall from my room barked all night. The cost was too high for such low standards. $48 per night and it was mandatory valet parking. No other option. Add to that the $25 per day mandatory charge for bar drinks tokens that they call “complimentary”- lol. No thank you.

It was pretty clean.

I didn't receive my deposit back until weeks later. Also, someone tried charging my card from this hotel which was very strange. No one had an explanation for it.

My room faced an extremely busy street which had motorcycles and muscle cars zooming up and down all night we literally got no sleep. I also dont like how there is a sign outside stating like $60-something a night and i was charged over $300 for one night and also got a random charge on top of the for $48 to my card that nobody told me about. We ended up leaving at 4am because the noise was so bad

Our room was large and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, the pillows not so much. The location was great, within easy walking distance of everything. Parking was in a covered garage out back. The breakfast was good, with a great selection. The staff was very cheerful and accommodating.

Not having daily room service was disappointing. The room was clean but very musty smelling. The thermostat in the room was very finicky and, at times, all we could get was warm air and no A/C. The people a couple of doors down from us had a barking dog that was very annoying.

We checked in at 6 pm and got into our room a little after 6 but then our card key would not work and we couldn’t get back in until after 9 pm and then they had us switch rooms.

The location of the hotel was conveniently close to the river and restaurants and stores!

I didn’t like how close the rooms were to the street which were very noisy at night when trying to sleep.

The location is superb, on the same block where the Lady Chablis used to perform. One street to cross until you are at the River Bank, Room was good, modern, tasteful deco. (see below) Staff was friendly, especially the young lady behind the reception with blue hair.

I was given an awful room for the first night, on the ground floor with a little guest bar right outside my window. Impossible to sleep, literally people drinking and making noise well into the early morning hours. I was moved to a room on the upper floors and that was much better, but received no compensation for that first sleepless night. That room behind the bar should not be rented out to anyone, especially not at those rates. I was very disappointed that the hotel (no longer) had a pool, I had to get a daypass at another hotel. For this type of hotel a pool (which they used to have and is still featured on some sites) should be included, definitely in the hot South. Also be aware that you will have to pay 50 US per day extra to park your car.

Location is easy - very walkable to the river and all of the parks

The property is very poor. Rooms are dirty and wet. The bathroom sink is inside the room. Hallways dark and smell bad, the windows are not double glazed. Be careful if first floor rooms they are right on the street

I loved everything about this hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

Convenience to the historical area

Was on the first floor room 107 was very loud due to traffic at 3 AM

I don't remember requesting a quiet room, not sure where that came from. But it was quiet. The room was great, clean and comfortable. Location, ideal. Parking, I did valet, so it was great. Only 1 of the elevators seemed to be working.

That the "incidentals" charge was not explained at check in.

Property was in a good location , have stayed in better hotels for the cost.

When I found out it was valet parking,, I did email 3 times and ask how much the valet parking was I never received an answer. I did arrive with family in my car, my Husband rode his motorcycle. We did arrive first in the car explained my husband would be arriving later but will be on his motorcycle the check in lady said that was fine we’re not going to charge you for motorcycle and a car. On Checkout I was charged for both. I was told well the check in lady should never have told you that… I said well my husband could have parked his motorcycle in another location, it’s not like they were valet parking it for him.

The room & bed were comfortable. Breakfast was included and delicious too. Location was perfect for our weekend and the valet worked fine on our Saturday excursion to drive around.

Check in was fine except we couldn't find a cart for our luggage and cooler, and because it was very busy, no one would help us find one. People were handing them off to people arriving after us. After 30 minutes, my husband went on the floors and found one. We later even found a cart just left on the elevator. I know it was very busy, but they should have someone going to get the carts to make available. The room was fine but difficult to find with the two elevators going to different numbers. Room 401-428 and 430 was on one and Room 429 and 431 - 45? on the other. Of course, ours was 429 and we got on wrong elevator without being told. They should switch room #s for 429 and 430, since confusing. Checking out of the room was easy and I did the valet request. When we went down there, it was very busy so we just waited. I should have gone to the podium to confirm. Then when we were 30 minutes still waiting and almost everyone had left, they didn't even have us in the cue. Great location, but I had to wear ear plugs at night because lots of loud cars driving down the street and sirens stopping them. The other side of the hotel probably not as loud.

Sehr zentrale Lage in der historischen Altstadt. Zimmer war nach hinten raus 2. Etage - trotzdem recht ruhig.

Frühstück.... trotz A la Carte täglich wechselnde Grösse und Zusammenstellung - völlig überteuert (wenn nicht inkludiert). Raum mit 2 SZ war nicht wie gebucht verfügbar.... inkl. Frühstück nur mit Diskussionen...erst nur für 2 dann final doch für vier. Die Rezeption war bemüht.
