Appartement fonctionnel et bien équipé pour faire la cuisine. Avec plaques de cuisson, four, micro-onde ,bouilloire, lave-vaisselle. Pour 4 personnes, il faut prévoir 2 personnes dans une chambre sur un lit et 2 autres sur le divan dans le salon L'accès aux installations sur le toit était incroyable: salle de sport super équipée, salle de yoga, billard, jacuzzi... devant le lever et le coucher de soleil !

C'est dommage que les vélos ne soient pas disponibles hors période estivale, même quand il fait beau et que la neige a fondu. On comptait beaucoup sur ce service... Notre appartement se trouvait juste au-dessus d'une bouche d'aération, non bruyante, mais qui laissait sortir des odeurs de gras. Pas trop dérangeant avec les fenêtres fermées.

Pleasant spacious apartment with small balcony. Good cafe in building (although partially closed for refurb during our stay). Quiet area but walkable to Little Italy and The Glebe.

Bathroom was small and short of hooks and shelves. Air on was fierce and a bit noisy.

The kitchenette came in very useful given we were leaving by train early morning and were able to prepare breakfast at the hotel before heading to the train station. This was important as on our previous train journeys in this part of Canada the food served on the trains was dreadful. The laundry on every floor was also extremely useful for people on an extended trip, especially when the weather in Canada the previous week had been unusually hot and humid.

The room was quite small as the kitchenette took up a lot of the space. The air conditioner was crazy loud, stopping and starting all the time despite the settings and making almost no difference to the temperature in the room. This made it almost impossible to get any quality sleep.

Really liked the amenities and the location.

Our stay got off to a rough start. Our son was crawling on the floor and his hands and feet were black. We went to the front desk to ask for them to clean and they wouldn't. The best we got was a bottle of cleaner and some paper towels to do it ourselves. It was also quite hot outside and the air conditioner was only in the living room which meant that the rooms got quite hot with no ability to cool it down. Lastly, great amenities but the elevators are small and take a long time to get up there.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at LIV Apartments. The poor housekeeping, dysfunctional air conditioning, and uncomfortable beds are just a few of the many reasons to steer clear of this place. Save yourself the agony and find a different accommodation option that actually cares about their guests' comfort and satisfaction.
