How spacious the suite was.
The room was hot and couldn't control the ac. Having to sleep while the balcony door is open. Then the shower appeared to look dirty, but I think it was stained.Also, having to pay $31 a night to self park your vehicle on their property. I feel like if you're a guest and parking your own vehicle, why should guests have to pay. I understand paying for valet, but just to self park $31 a night?

Staying near the beach is always nice. It was nice that there were towels provided for the pool. However, no one ever put them back so there were never any free deck chairs because they were always covered in dirty towels.
Parking was terrible, the spaces were very tight and hard to access. The pool was always very dirty. The room had a lot of broken things in it. We asked multiple times for extra blankets for my son who was cold, we never got an extra blanket. We had to ask for enough washcloths for the number of guests staying in the room. We never actually were brought them but I stopped a housekeeper in the hallway and she gave me some. There were only really small trash cans in the room and only one small trash can to take our trash to trash out to and no one ever came in and emptied it. The one trash can always had trash overflowing from it and piled up all around it and it stank. None of the doors were locked from the outside which made me worry with kids as anyone had access to the hotel at any time. And I watch my kids but there were definitely some sketchy people that were not hotel guests in the pool. That really bothered me as they kept staring at underaged girls. It was so bad my teens noticed it and asked to leave as they were uncomfortable. Some of the staff was friendly. Some were not. It was a lot of little things, that by themselves I wouldn't normally care about but there were so many and it is not exactly a cheap place so that all added up. There were plenty of other things too but these are the more prominent ones. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend to anyone. I would even go so far as to say I would avoid this chain of hotels completely it was such a poor experience.

No blankets in room. Asked twice for blankets & when they were delivered they had an awful smell. Someone’s sock was in the room. Phone was broke.

The room was nice and clean, looked just like the pictures. You have easy access to the beach. The hotel is surrounded by condos/apartments, so the beach is pretty private and not busy like other beaches in Virginia Beach.
I would describe this as a 3-star (not 4-star) hotel. Check-in was a disaster. We had to wait for over an hour to get our room because they were behind on cleaning the rooms and from what I could gather, many people were having trouble checking in. At one point, there were at least 20 people in the lobby trying to check in. Once in the room, it was impossible to get a hold of housekeeping or some kind of room service. Our suite had two TVs but only one remote and the batteries weren't working. Not great when you are traveling with kids! It took our HOURS to get new batteries and a new remote (we got the remote at 11pm once we were all asleep).

The facility was small but had all the benefits of a large hotel. The beach was private and therefore great experience! The Tide (restaurant) was accommodating as we had a pet with us, looking back for the most part this was a wonderful experience!
When we arrived almost immediately it was discovered that the toilet did not flush, we called the front desk and it was repaired immediately. Secondly, we used the pullout sofa and immediately noticed there were no sheets or pillows, we had to request them. Finally the rooms were not tidied during our stay and each night we had to request towels and face cloths, there were 4 of us traveling and could not understand why something so basic required a phone call. Also on the second evening before leaving for the beach we left the soiled towels outside our door in the hallway, housekeeping tooke the towels, yet no additional were left. Disappointing.

Room was great size for a family of 4. Had a King room with a pool out couch. Very clean. Hallway noise could be heard in room. Location was awesome. felt like we had our own private beach. Across the street from a food lion and not near the busier side of the beach. Pool area was a bit small but nice with lots of seating. Great service from restaurant and bar by the pool. on-site restaurant was yummy.
Front desk a bit sassy. Very busy hotel with slow elevators during peak hours.

Our stay was amazing! The staff was amazing and accommodated us so well. I forgot the woman’s name but she is African American that works at the front desk. She was the best anyone could ask for. I watched her help so many people and just have an amazing attitude and super informative about the hotel and the area! Everyone honestly was great. The shorter Caucasian woman that worked at the restaurant, she took my order and was also Amazing! I hate I cannot remember names but literally everyone was amazing! There was also a Latino man at the front desk that was so nice and answers all my questions! I have no complaints about this place or stay. Nothing could have made it better. It rained so bad but because this place was so awesome that didn’t matter a bit! Thank you!

Location, direct beach access. Pool staff was great. Beach is well maintained.
Cleanliness of the room was lacking. The hotel is pet friendly. My room had obvious signs of a dog. The pull out sofa had dead fleas on the bedding. Staff did bring clean bedding to the room. Carpet in the room had 2 large burn stains. Dust was present on the head board, carpet had a stale smell. Not sure of how that happened there. Bathroom was not properly cleaned, soiled toilet, floor and shower. I opted to clean it myself with Clorox that I travel with. Staff did offer to move me to another room, optional room was not much better. Maybe because of the busy holiday room turnover may have been rushed. The 2nd day I asked for more towels and cloths, they were never bought to the room. Luckily I also travel with extras. Most of the ice machines were not working. Parking on site which is great but expensive at $30 per day.

The balcony was ok that’s about it. Bed was comfortable.
Cleanliness, location, amenities and parking should be included given the price of the room rates. The couch had brown spots on it the desk chair was all falling apart the lighting is very dark in all parts of the room. Parking is $35 like what? After spending almost $700 you gone charge for parking to it’s very overrated. And the location is no where near the strip part of Virginia beach so keep that in mind. If you want to be secluded from the main central area of VA beach then this is the hotel for you.

It was absolutely beautiful!!!! The hotel is kept very clean the prices are high but it is worth it this hotel is one of the most top of the line most beautiful and most clean and the most classiest I have ever been to !!! I had no issues checking in once we arrived we had no issues whatsoever our room was stunning and very welcoming !!!! I will be booking this hotel over and over again everytime me and my family come to visit the beach !!!

Dirty lobby, dirty elevator floor and poor elevators condition, zero water pressure at the shower we had to change room and the second one was a bit better but still not enough

The room was roomy, clean and comfortable. The beach was clean and quiet! The pool looked very nice. We did not have a chance to use it. Staff was very helpful and friendly!
The extra cost for the beach cabana was pricey and off-putting. The food and drink could be less pricey. Free or discounted parking would have been better than $30/night.

I didn’t realize it was so far from the actual va beach oceanfront /boardwalk . Had to leave to go do things with my kids and for dining options .

The pool, restaurant & quick access to the beach loved that
It wasn’t worth the money at all terrible location it was not the cleanest there was a dead fly squished on the wall just disgusting to see the doors had tape on them just not pleasant enough to spend over 1,000 for 2 nights.

Absolutely loved the location and the amenities! From the Starbucks to the amazing restaurant, to valet ! Everything and everyone was exceptional!
Due to the humidity I think that caused a slight smell in the room that dissipated with opening the balcony door of the room

Right at the beach with most rooms with at least part ocean view.
The front desk forgot our breakfast vouchers and breakfast was not so great. Some food has not been replenished although we had breakfast right in between business hours.
Also, one staff person told us that breakfast - which was included in our room rate - would not start before 11 am. We asked him like three times that this is very unusual and if that was true. Turned out it started at 7 am and ended at 11 am. That was very unprofessional.

Nice view from room. Close to my daughter. It was well appointed. My room was large and the bed was comfortable.
The staff at the desk when I checked in didn't even say hello or welcome to the hotel. He just said, "Name?" asking for my last name with no smile. That was my first impression of the hotel. I also was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Hairs were on the sink, different spots clearly hadn't been dusted in ages, the floor near the sink was dirty. The coffee pot had water in it and smelled. Based on the price I paid, I doubt I would stay here again.
